That is fixed in the latest
That is fixed in the latest hotfix. It is available both on this website and on Nexus. And it should not crash the game if you press "yes" - you would just get a blank texture. Game crashes happen all the time for various reasons - I don't think it is related.
I installed the hotfix, and
I installed the hotfix, and now it just crashes without any warning at the same spot, near to Dondril. No other crashes for me, only this one.
In the Morrowind game files
In the Morrowind game files folder, there is a file called Warnings.txt. If you are lucky, there might be a message indicating the cause of the crash. But anyway, this is most likely related to your setup and has nothing to do with TR. The only other advice I can give you is to do other things for a while and return to the area at a later point (that worked for me once when I was experiencing persistent crashes in a single location). Maybe approaching the area from a different direction might help. If that does not work, you could always try play the game on OpenMW (then you definitely would not get any crashes of this kind), but that would require to start a new playthrough.
