Hello TR, longtime lurker, had trouble retrieving my old account so made a new one instead. I’ve always admired the concept art here and thought I’d contribute a bit. Just got Pixelmator Pro on my phone and to practice and brush up my oh so rusty skills thought I’d take a preliminary stab at a tree replacement for the pines.  The basic idea is a tree that uses hanging lichen like leaves instead of Pine Branches. The tree trunk is fungal in nature- definitely needs fleshing out, might make a mock-up in blender instead of drawing it.
