- What is their niche in the world?
- Who is ruling them?
- How is the faction organised beneath the rulership level?
- What is their outline?
- Who founded it? When?
- Why do people join them? What do they do for their members?
- What factions splintered off of them?
- Do they have internal factions?
- What are they doing?
- How do they sustain themselves?
- What is common knowledge about them?
- What do members know about their faction that outsider don't?
- What dirty secrets do the in-the-know people know?
- What are the three most notable events in faction history?
- What happened to them during and after the Armistice?
- What happened to them during and after the Simulacrum?
- How are they represented in game?
- Do they own settlements or buildings in other people's settlements?
- Do they have faction guards?
- What notable holdings do they have? Where is their seat of power?
- What active border or holding conflicts do they have?
- What other factions hate or love them? Why? How is that represented?
- Which of their members is an Elder Council member (Red or White Chorus)?
- What is the player's experience with them?
- Purpose: What do we actually want to achieve with this faction? What do we want the player to experience with it? Why is it playable?
- Format: How can we best deliver the experience to the player? How should the quest content be structured? (Disconnected quests, a coherent storyline, etc.)
- Content: How should the faction gameplay be distributed in the gameworld? e.g. Locations for misc quests, low/mid/high-level questlines, etc.
- Implementation: How can we most practically go about implementing the gameplay? One claim, several?
- What is the future outline?
- How is the faction represented in the vanilla game, assuming it is?
- What is the rough outline for a faction plot?
- What are the rough outlines for local plots? How do they tie into the global plot?
- What conflicts exist that the player cannot resolve?
