Discussing cross-province armor and weapon stats
Atrayonis posted the last armor stats spreadsheet on the meeting channel. Phenoix12 exported all weapon and armor stats from the CS and said he would work on the files. Jackimoff will contribute the previous armor spreadsheet.
Proposal for Aena weapons
Chitin with bamboo shafts (Alt Orethan is planned to have turquoise-ish bamboo). May have started out as farm tools, or might still be used in part as farm tools (the sickle specifically), but now low-class weapons used by various Velothi and others in the area (like the Chev-Aram militia).
There’s a TR line about ‘beetle shells’ that will need to be edited (all entries for that topic are the same and mention aena as being something like bonemold). It should be renamed to something more descriptive (like chitin and bonemold which to varying degrees of success describe what the material is).
Andrethis
As the area southeast of Kragenmoor is relatively empty of guild content and low on population, a suggestion was made to increase the size of Andrethis and give it guilds. It’s the point where the Kanit river becomes navigable (by shallow boats like barges), and is on Veloth’s Path, so is a good fit for a more active settlement.
Saint Seryn would remain a sleepier industry town.
Faction Distribution
In the course of the Mages Guild discussion (and picking up from last week’s Necrom discussion), there was more talk about the idea of tongs as an alternative to Imperial factions in places with less outlander presence/that are supposed to be more xenophobic and not westernized. Gnomey set himself the homework of putting up some concrete suggestions of how those tongs might look and operate by next meeting.
In general, tongs would be a more common part of the Dunmer culture in Mournhold District (centered on Almalexia) and likely Narsis District. They could also extend along the eastern seaboard where Imperial content is lacking (such as eastern Telvannis).
Travel Networks
Charger posted a map of his travel hub proposal, which was revised during the meeting.
The map has been well received by the attendees.
(Keep in mind that the map it’s based on is outdated)
