Hey there, some people may know me from mainly last year. I`m very very sorry for being away for such a long time, but I had some technical as well as personal problems which took my attention. Okay, not only that, Ive put it off for a long time too.
For the people who dont know me, my real name is joshuah, 24 years old and Im living in some kind of a rehab hospital in a small village in germany (Black forest :D)

Well, now I`m back :-)). And I made a concept for the Imperial Cult (the “occupation” ive chosen here) which is - hopefully - interesting for the project. It is some kind of a general plan of how which questlines are related to each other and why which questlines exist. It is not perfect, but I think it is suitable to be a preliminary working scheme (or better: finally something to talk about, about what is good, what isnt, and so on. From such a discussion can result a good plan). I will post it here soon :-)

Hi NathanJ, welcome back to TR.

For non-CS work, a showcase thread isn’t required, so feel free to post your quest concepts in the Imperial Cult Brainstorming thread (or in the Asset Browser if they are already quite developed) when you’re ready!

To addendun on that a little—if you want to IMPLEMENT quests into the CS, you’ll need to make a showcase. Implementing often means writing out the dialogue for questlines, too.

If you want to toss around quest ideas and throw up proposals for a quest you want TR to do, that doesn’t require a showcase. We’re startinig work on a questing expansion pack of sorts, so any ideas you can throw to us would be welcome!

Yes, sure. Youre right, “introduce yourself” was the thread i have searched for. The only reason I started a “showcase” is that sometimes I have random ideas for quests, books or such. In the old forum I had a showcase (http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?t=25061) where I posted my quest ideas, some were worked out to the last line of dialogue. It was a little space for my brains regular shearing ;p
I hope thats okay if I use this one alike. If not, simply delete it

Nope, that’s totally okay! Though if you have quest ideas that you are finalizing into implementa-ble form (and not just brainstorming), you should post them in ye olde Asset Browser, one quest per entry. http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/asset

And one caution on writing out dialogue for the quests. The Morrowind dialogue system is a weird one, and you have to jump through a few hoops to get dialogue trees like they use in other games to work in it. I’d recommend getting an understanding of how Morrowind handles speech first, as otherwise any quest devs implementing your work may be due a headache, and almost certainly will have to edit what you’ve written to fit.
