One of the most common questions is 'where can I sell my stuff" or 'which merchant has the most barter gold'
I think an existing smith could get some minor mercantile/barter gold/inventory tweaks to be a high end merchant. Not as rich as the Narsis one, but better than what they have now.

Ive been pretty okay between
Ive been pretty okay between the rich weapon merchant, rich alchemist and reguard trader for the other stuff. Thats what I've used for most of my playthroughs. Much better than most of vanilla, imo. Selling expensive stuff that's over their gold budget then becomes a minigame of finding less expensive items from the merchants' inventories to offset what you're selling them and offloading those items to less rich merchants in turn.
