Description:

This is not exactly a bug, more of a suggestion after playing DoD these past few weeks (not sure about EoE areas, didn't get to them yet and old TR I don't exactly remember).

Anyway, I don't know if it's due to leveled lists or something - but damn, it's very hard to find something a) useful or b) "new" from TD from the merchants in DoD to actually use the money you earn from the quests. Honestly most of them feel like they were added for flavour, when there should be some Arille-type traders or outfitters that provides basic stuff to go dungeon delving. Some smiths should have better weapons on stock and not just be another generic iron weapons smith, same for armorers and so on.

In the attachment there's an example picture of what you can buy in Varalaryn Tradehouse in Bodrum (only merchant in town if I recall) - there are very few things and it's mostly useless. Don't get me wrong, but some of the places could use another pass with gameplay in mind.

Bumping this post as the

Bumping this post as the situation is EoE areas is similar.

- In general - like I said, traders does not always have anything useful for sale, most of their stock feels it's just for flavour. Which is fine for the most part, but there should be at least some with basic adventurer's gear (Almsivi/Divine interventions, weapons of each type, torches, basic potions and scrolls - see Arille's example), especially in big hubs.

- Guilds should offer more services in general, trainers and barter, as per vanilla. For example - in Firewatch TG there's only one trainer and the next guild city is in OE.

- Their stock should be more personalized. Traders in imperial cities should have more imperial stuff, those in Dunmer cities should have more native stuff.

- There are so many nice pieces of equipment in TR_Data. They should be used more often.

- If someone is a "fine" armorer/smith he should really have better stock (Chatal Mendor for example).

See examples here (there were much more, but I didn't take many screenshots):

By the way, funny thing is that Jana Livia is better stocked than traders in big Firewatch and Helnim.
