By Terelcabor Brone
This is a collection of notes from a discontinued project of The College of Winterhold, the project involved mudcrab experts Fevyhen Helethas and Elenaya Adihle. The notes were given to me via a teacher at the college, who is a very good friend of mine, these notes were later published in this book by me Terelcabor Brone. The research involves mudcrabs from three different regions (other notes were lost): Cyrodiil, Skyrim and Morrowind.
Cyrodiilic Mudcrab :
The Cyrodiilicus family is smaller than most mudcrabs,
it has no large stone-like layer, but has small pebble like stones on his exoskeleton,
has protruding eyes and small pincers,
The feet are hooklike and dance in the pattern (from the creatures perspective) : two, one, three, five, six, four,
specimen reverses pattern for opposite movement,
snips claws at one and six, eyes react when placing feet four and three. – Elenaya Adhile
Morrowind Mudcrab :
Compared to other mudcrabs the Morrowindus family,
has eyes under his top shell and is wider and longer than most,
specimen has hard rock like chitin, which it uses to hide from predators and prey,
limbs are fin-like and pincers that are unusually large, definetly a proto-specimen.
Dances the unusual pattern : Four, Five, One, Two, Three, Six,
specimen seems more restricted to forward movement,
this specimen also reverses pattern for opposite movement,
snipping occurs at random intervals. - Fevyhen Helethas
Skyrim Mudcrab :
The Skyrim Mudcrab also known as the Atmoras family, closely resembles the Cyrodiilicus.
It seems to have developed larger claws and thicker limbs.
Specimen seems to hide as a sleek rock among the riverbanks,
seems more aggresive than the Cyrodiilicus,
It dances in the following pattern: one, two, three, four, five, six.
reverses pattern in opposite movement,
snips at one, two and three, four. – Elenaya Adhile

there is probably going to be another chapter about cross-species examination.

Is there a sequel to this? Would it be part of the same ingame book or another? Transferred to asset browser.

There probably would be, I don't know if I'll write it though. I wrote this when I was a bit bored, that probably shows.
I'll update my own remarks in the asset browser, as well as possible expansion of the book series.
