Notice something great about the current or work-in-progress version of our data ESM? Or, something not so great?

If you have feedback about our assets, including models, textures, and animations, this is the place to give it. Especially if you notice bugs like collision issues, missing textures or models, jumpy animations, or just poorly made stuff.

If you want to request changes or updates to existing assets, this is where to do it. If you want to request new assets, do so in the Assets Needed thread. If you have a modder's resource you want to offer TR, do that in the Modder Resources thread.

Hi, I Just downloded the new version of TR on top of my fresh new Morrowing download and encounter a bug, when I tried to create a new game It was running smoothly untill I had to choose race and face (no problem choosing race but one I try to change my face after few tries it tells me that something is missing and asks me if I wan't to continue and sometimes it allowes me to continue and sometimes it Kicks me out) :(

Hi, not sure if I'm posting in the right place. I have a problem I can't seem to solve: I installed TR for the first time (version 15.12, using OpenMW 0.38). Whenever I go to the mainland, I see missing assets/models. It doesn't matter where I go, Firewatch, Bal Oyra, Old Ebonheart, etc.

Bal Oyra fore example. Here is my mod list. I tried it with a completely clean Data Files folder too, loading only TR_Data.esm, TR_Mainland.esm, and TR_Travels.esp (plus Tribunal and Bloodmoon)

I added the TR_Data.bsa to the Morrowind.ini file too, as instructed in the readme file. I have no idea what could cause the problem. Anything I might have forgotten?

Hello Vercion,

it's a common problem for openmw mit mods that comes with .bsa-packages.

Just add this line below the other "failback-archive"-entries in your openmw.cfg:

 fallback-archive=TR_Data.bsa

Have fun :)

Hey, so I registered the bsa, used MGSO to create a distant land, and yet though I can open the gates of the Plaza Brindisi Dorom I end up in water. The map shows only the Sacred East, which was the last TR update I used (Sacred East update 3). Those places still exist, but the rest of the land does not. I know it should be. The distant land shows it there, but that just melts away into nothingness as I get closer. This is with new characters, no saves. I’m still trying to get the saves to work. I have been using Wrye Mash as well. Any help or suggestion will be most appreciated as I am getting  near my wits end.

That sounds like you have TR_Mainland and TR_Travels active, but not TR_Preview, although you have used all to generate distant land.
TR_Preview has the in-development land (which Almalexia is part of) and TR_Travels has the door connection you use.

Velk sounds are in the Data, but they haven’t been assigned to the Velk creature. Should be fixed in the next release.

Hmm, I did assign them to the Velk, but it looks like they did not take. I am not sure what happened.

I have a problem with TR that I never had before, I have a fresh install of Morrowind with tribunal an bloodmoon, an the official add-on’s, when I go to load in the mainland in the construction set an in game i get all kinds of missing meshes an ect. I registered it in the morrowind ini an it still is not working right. Can someone help? I’d much appreciate it cause I’m lost on what to do at this point.

Is it Steam Mw?

Occassionally, people get this problem (BSA not registering despite everything), and there’s never been a solution for it. Installing in something other than C:\Program Files tends to help, as well as redating your BSA (the MCP apparently does this out of the box). Occassionally, installing TR alongside MGSO and Morrowind Rebirth causes issues, although nobody is sure why and how, reinstalling from scratch helped the last time this came up.

No it’s not Steam mw, I have the game of the year for Pc. I do have Morrowind code patch an mge installed that I forgot to mention. I hope those aren’t causing problems for TR, cause I need Mge for my Morrowind to work right on my computer. An I tried reinstalling it a couple times still get the same problem.  I don’t have any mods installed besides TR 16.03.

Just got it to work, thanks for you’re help Atrayonis. All i had to do was put it in a new folder besides program files like you said.

Heya everyone. I recently downloaded this amazing addition to what might be my favorite game of all time, and I’m loving it! Just wanted to say that before I get to the problem I encountered (which isn’t all that big of a deal).

I was travelling back and forth between Helnim and F i r e w a t c h (wouldn’t let me type it all together for some reason) and noticed the docks in the latter town with some missing steps. I’ll upload the screenshot I took.

As you can see, on either side of the walkway into the town, the stairs up from the water are missing a few steps, preventing the guard (and myself at one point) from using them.

Anyway, like I said, not that big of a deal, but thought I’d mention it.

And thanks so much for this awesome continuation of a most excellent game.

OpenMW can handle a Steam installation (and it installs separately, so it doesn't touch the Steam Morrowind folder. it just uses data from it): https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php?title=Installation_Instructions#Steam

Greetings, all. I'm new here, and just trying out TR. So at the risk of sounding like a bonehead...

I'm using a clean install of Morrowind running, with the latest suite of Tamriel Rebuilt modules (downloaded just a few days ago), and a bare minimum of additional mods. Whenever I enter an area covered by the TR material, such as Firewatch, I get a slew of missing *nif and texture errors, resulting in exclamation point diamonds all over the place. What's worse, several creatures and NPCs report having no "animation class" (?). So whenever I encounter one, Morrowind crashes to the desktop. A similar problem occurs in the editor, though the animation thing doesn't crash the editor. (Or hasn't yet.)

As far as I know all of the masters are registered, though I will check again. Would it help if the TR master data files were "unpacked?" In the past I've avoided missing mesh or texture errors by extracting specific items from master files. Isn't there a utility that will unpack an entire master file in one command?

Can anyone shed light on this? Do I need to provide more detail? If this is covered in an FAQ somewhere, please point me to it. Like I said, I'm new.

Hello RJPugh,
sounds like PT_Data.bsa and TR_Data.bsa aren't registered.
You should go to your Morrowind folder and find Morrowind.ini.
Search for "Archives"; it will look something like this:

[Archives]
Archive 0=Tribunal.bsa
Archive 1=Bloodmoon.bsa
Archive 2=Morrowind.bsa

You can register the BSAs by adding their names to the Archives list:

[Archives]
Archive 0=Tribunal.bsa
Archive 1=Bloodmoon.bsa
Archive 2=Morrowind.bsa
Archive 2=PT_Data.bsa
Archive 3=TR_Data.bsa

Hope this helps.

I just downloaded the TR Data just to check out the assets (I'm always looking for more weird bugs and mushrooms), and I was really impressed with the quality and quantity of assets. In particular, I really enjoyed the weird bugs and mushrooms, and lots of the giant mushrooms in particular have many more variations than the Bethesda assets, and I think many of the models look better than the vanilla models as well. There's a couple things I noticed that didn't work that I can post about when I find them again, but I just wanted to say this is a really impressive effort, and I was amazed by the consistancy of the assets I've seen so far. The licensing request is super reasonable (Using the data as a dependancy and giving people credit), and it's a fantastic thing you guys are doing here.
I haven't read enough of the forums or explored the Landmass or any of that, so I don't really know what you guys need right now, but I write rhyming verse (I'm a songwriter). I wrote these three poems today, for people in the project to read, and if you think you want something like this (either these poems, or additional poems) to flesh out your books or quests, I would love to return at least some of the favor.
I tried to do three fairly different kinds of poem.

When he thrusted his cup,
Now dead is our Dretch, the Netch Loving Letch

Pretending that things, could proceed as before
Without halting the spew, through magick or steel,

Hey there!
I went to the Telvanni Archmagister Rilvin Dral (just for fun) some time ago. Is it normal that he doesn`t have any vocal greetings or general texts (with the exception of when you are attacking him or stealing from him)? For example, when you approach one NPC, he or she starts saying anything random like: "I could kill that guar! Those boots are ruined!" or "Where`s that slave?"
Maybe he`s just starting acoustic speech line(s) when being in some special high-ranking Telvanni-Quest? Otherwise I would find it a little dissapointing (especially if you look at his `celebrity status` :P). Or maybe its "just" an error in my mod installation.

I was just thinking about how there are those Gah-Julan, Armun-An, etc. native armor styles, but they are never mentioned in books (except for list of armor orders). So here's my feedback, TR_Data needs more lore-aware books that place these names into the world.

Greetings! Although Tel Narrusa was transformed into Tel Gilan, the Telvanni Brown Book of 3E 426 still cites Darythi as the Mage Lord of the Tower of Tel Narrusa, Helnim.

Also, in the Imperial Archaelogical Society, Helnim, there's a corner where the wall textures don't seem to fully connect.

New here, so I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place or is formatted incorrectly.
I'm getting errors while walking from Seyda Neen to Vivec, it might be a coincidence but so far it's only been while looking towards the coast. 
Error is as follows:
Object "T_Mw_TerrRockRR_Rock_30" (Tamriel_Data.esm) Model Load Error: Meshes\tr\x\tr_terr_rock_rr_30.nif cannot load file in Meshes\tr\x\tr_terr_rock_rr_30.nif. Followed by the usual prompt on whether or not to continue running the executable.
 

The same goes for T_Mw_TerrRockRR_Rock_14, and T_Mw_TerrRockRR_Rock_18.

My game is Morrowind GotY edition from GOG, setup using the Morrowind Sharp guide and then Tamriel Rebuilt's install guide on top of that.

While I've had these error messages, I haven't actually ran into any problems/missing textures in the world as of yet. I'm hoping I can just ignore the problem and it'll go away lol. But if a fix for this is known, I'd love some help! Thanks in advance.

Adding to the list: "T_B_Rga_HeadFemTR_01","T_B_Rga_HairFemTR_12" with the same error otherwise. Probably not going to comment every time I get a new error- These seemed relevant because they're faces rather than terrain. Shrug.

Hi! Sorry if this might be the wrong place, but I just downloaded the newest version of TR and noticed a couple of things:

1. The stairs up to the silt strider in Sailen don't seem to work. I can't walk up them at all. If I want to talk to the silt strider lady, I have to jump or levitate up.

2. The added guild guide in the Vivec mages guild only says "who's there" whenever I try to talk to him, as if I were invisible. 

3. There's a piece of the ceiling in the shrine are of Yamandalkal (where Tatho is) that shows seams, like it's disconnected.

Very minor, but I thought I'd mention them anyway! I don't think any of my other mods should be causing these things, since I don't have any mods that alter TR areas nor the Vivec mages guild.
