A miscellaneous quest, which can be set anywhere (because the main action is in an interior cell)
Sheorograd dropped his favorite stuffed guar someplace inside his broom closet, but just can't find it again. If you can manage to find it, he'll reward you appropriately. It's probably not dangerous in there.
Agreeing to this, you find yourself suddenly in an interior cell, a boring room, with a door. You enter the door and find yourself in yet another room, but this one is stranger-- tipped sideways, and the chairs are floating. Or maybe the room is strangely small, or upsidown, or gigantic. In any case, you're in a house or cave designed by MC Escher at his worst, or Sheogorath on a normal day, and now your task is to find Mr Fluffles and get out.
Sheo's box o' fun may feature:
Rooms tipped sideways or upsidown
Floating things
Doors that lead to random places
Doors that don't lead back to where you were even though you just came through them
Doors that are very small
Rooms that are very jumbled
Confusion
Rooms that are scaled very big or scaled very small
Weird things
Rooms that are inside out
Geometry that would make a Tardis dizzy
Strictly speaking, the point of this quest is "have puzzling fun but also find this one item to get a reward" so it is very simple quest-wise, and is more like an interesting dungeon than an involved quest. The setup makes it a quest and gives you a reason not to just teleport out of there.

Weird geometry rooms, tried to play with that once... (yes there's still the esp on the old forums, if it's any inspiration)

I like this idea. What if, in this quest, Sheogorath is masquerading as a regular NPC. It seems like a normal (if odd) quest where the NPC asks you to fetch a stuffed animal from their closet. Then, the closet turns out to be the Escherian maze.
When the player finally returns from the maze, they find that the NPC is gone, and a small figure of Sheogorath has appeared on a table (with a reward next to it?) The broom closet is now an ordinary room.
Could be an interesting thing for players to find upon entering a random, unassuming house in a large city like Almalexia.

I like that idea, as ideally this quest should be a surprise. And also I have no idea how to lead into it.
EDIT: Also to be clear this quest idea is an open one for anyone who has a decent idea.
Does: concepts, textures, youtube vids, admin stuff e.g. PR, handbook, assets, small website things. Activity level: wildly unpredictable. Still active. Find me on Discord.

My first thought is it could be a little kid asking you, but Morrowind doesn't have kids...
Some overly paranoid guy that needs his Cuddly Fluffy Guarikins to sleep at night? But that might be too obvious...
Possibly a parent who's moving out of town, forgot it, and wants the player to go get it for them for their kid. They don't give you a reason for why they're moving, but people around town mention they've heard strange noises coming from that house at night and believe it cursed. And only upon completing the quest do you learn no one knew the parent, as the house has been deserted for years...

Transferred to asset browser. Soome suggested ediits haven’t been responded to yet on this thread. It seems like the most important things needed for this quest is a good premise for going into the crazy room, as well as an interior developer to make the crazy room interior.
