About three days ago I saw a notification pop up in the Morrowind Multiplayer steam group asking for volunteers who want to try testing TR with the OpenMW Multiplayer module. So I went ahead and joined them. I played with David, who’s one of the three developers and four other testers for about two hours while being in VOIP as well. It was a really great experience, exploring the world you’ve known for such a long time finally with some other players. Some things like creatures and NPCs weren’t synced between the players yet, but everything else was working really well, I was especially impressed with how fluid the other characters were moving (even when we were jumping around like crazy with high speed and acrobatics). Since they were all somewhat inexperienced with TR I was showing them around the map for most of the time, explaining the regions and also talking a bit about what our current plans are. They were definitely most impressed with the unique looks of the Grey Meadows and the city of Baan Malur and were happy to hear that we’ve planned to release more areas with completely new designs.
So in conclusion there were no issues at all with playing TR in the OpenMW Multiplayer and it’s already great fun.
I sadly forgot to make screenshots because I was simply too excited.

Very interesting! Morrowind multiplayer looks outstanding, it must be crazy to actually play with others on Vvardenfell, and of course, the mainland. Would of loved some screenies though, they would be nice for PR

UPDATE:
I’m currently installing a new install of Morrowind so that I can play MP (I’m jealous that you got to play Ragox, haha), while I’m playing we are going to test TR and I’m going to try to record it all for TR’s PR accounts and such.

This is brilliant. Please let me know what screenshots and such you get a hold of, Matt. I’d like to pitch them to the TESO crowd.

Hmmmm. Baan Malur would be amazing, and maybe some other places the lore fans would recognize: Necrom? Old Ebonheart?
I also hear Akamora was another amazing place. Soooo much to choose from.

If I could make a suggestion, Gargen Huul or Gorne. They are not iconic, but they should be (the views are gorgeous).
Gorne would be something for Poison Song fans.

Have you guys already gotten some nice screenshots and footage?
Otherwise let’s set a date for it, so that we can all meet up sometime

Hey Ragox! Me, Thomas Ruz, and some others got together and played around today. I got 38 or so minutes of footage, and I’m uploading it to Youtube now. That being said, I would still love to play again soon. I don’t want to wait too long though, because I need to revert back to my MGSO installation soon, I have some projects I need to finish. Whenever works. Plus I only got footage of Gerand Huul, Gah Sadrith, Necrom, Gorne, and Baan Malur. Not too many amzing screenshots either. You can also record if you wish?
Anyway, I will post a link to the video here once it uploads. Anywhere else I should put it besides in this thread?

Okay, the video has been uploaded to Youtube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_s-Vi7UKWA&feature=youtu.be
Its a little low quality though, I guess that’s what I get from running it through OBS, Windows Movie Maker and Youtube. You can still read the chat though. If you want, I can also put the .mp4 as an attachment so you can put the video elswhere whithout lowering the quality, again.

I like this, though for the sake of PR, I think we should probably take out the best clips and try to make it no longer than 10 minutes. (ThomasRuz jumping into the sky was hilarious...as was smacking him with the whatever, getting reported for a crime and running off :P)
Is the lack of walking animation in other players something they’re working on?

The Multiplayer add-on is still in its early stages, from my end I could see most of Matt's Animations (Idle, Walking, Fighting, Jumping), so it may have had to do with the early development, settings, or some kind of other known issue. We had also encountered some server problems, but those are probably being looked into.
But overall, yeah it was really fun to do Multiplayer Morrowind.

I do and I could also record with good quality (even 1440p at 60fps).
I think we should probably wait until the NPCs and creatures are synched (which should be very soon) and then do a proper recording with some scripted bits, where we travel together, do some dungeon delving and so on. I wouldn’t make the video longer than 2 – 3 minutes so that it’s an exciting teaser.

Any work on this? I would love to put a finished video up for my ESO peeps to drool on.
And as far as multiplayer testing, you could try poking at the Steam community over here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/mwmulti
