Greetings.

I'm using OpenMW and been having trouble with downloading Skyrim Home of the nords. I travel to Dagon Fel and the guy is a yellow exclamtion mark.

Sorry if this is obvious, but really not sure what's up. Registered my BSA's, but still having issues.

Appreciate any help or insights, thank you for your time.

Alright, I'm not sure what the exact issue is but I am spotting a couple of problems here.

First of all PT_Data.bsa is no longer supported, it was replaced by Sky_Data.bsa, and PC_Data.bsa.
It should look like this

As far as the load order
Load Bloodmoon.esm AFTER Tribunal.esm
Load TR_Factions.esp AFTER TR_Mainland.esm

And get rid of TR_OldTravels.esp, TR_Preview.esp, TR_Travels.esp, and TR_Travels_Preview_and_Mainland.esp because those are either outdated or just dummy files meant to overwrite the old unsupported ones
If they are from the latest release on the Nexus then using them won't cause any issues, but they are just empty files so there is no use in loading them

Thanks for the tips that helped clean up a lot.

I had done a reinstallation, but still getting the exclamation marks. Still figuring it out.

I just noticed in MO2 my archives aren't ticked, but they have been added to the ini file.

Hmm... I can't say I'm familiar with MO2

I take it the BSA files are actually in Morrowind's "Data Files" folder?

If the BSA files are where they are supposed to be, and they are registered in the .ini then running the Settings Importer in the OpenMW Launcher should probably do the trick

Running the import did do something. I went to the docks expecting the examplation marks, but found nothing. They don't seem to be there. They seem to have gone completely.

Just to be sure, you are importing your load order to OpenMW via the launcher right?

Because OpenMW doesn't automatically update those when you change them in a mod manager, you have to run the settings importer in the launcher and then select the Content List that it creates

IT WORKED!!
I just had to reenable the mods in OpenMW!! The import did the trick.

Thank you heart

[Archives]
Archive 0=Tribunal.bsa
Archive 1=Bloodmoon.bsa
Archive 2=PC_Data.bsa
Archive 3=Sky_Data.bsa

Then run openmw importer.

I found it. Button F12. Strange. Why not PrintAScreen button? Whatever.

There are two screenshots.

1. screenshot000.png = There you see  a see of yellow "things".

2. screenshot001.png = Shows the location on the global map.

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier, I missed your comment

I'm not entirely sure what's causing your issues, but could you post your load order for me to look at?

Also, are you only getting these yellow squares towards the area in your screenshot, or are places like Old Ebonheart and Andothren affected as well?

Loading ordnung:

[Archives]
Archive 0=Tribunal.bsa
Archive 1=Bloodmoon.bsa
Archive 2=PC_Data.bsa
Archive 3=TR_Data.bsa
Archive 4=Sky_Data.bsa

I put this screenshot, because there are really many this things. But this occurs also in Old Ebonheard. In Mages Guilt, in transportation room for example are two.

That's not what i meant with your load order, those are just your registered BSA files (Which do seem to be in order by the way)

I meant your game files, the list of .ESM and .ESP files you have active

Alright, so those yellow squares are something that happens when the game can't find the model for something

Your BSA files (which contain said models) are probably in order because you would be having even more problems if they weren't

But judging from your load order and the landmass on your worldmap I'm assuming you're loading one or more outdated files
Because the land on your map seems to be from an old version of TR_Preview.esp which would be incompatible with the current version Tamriel_Data (which would also explain why you're having these issues)

Both TR_Travels.esp and TR_Preview.esp are no longer being supported.
The files packaged with the latest public release were simply empty ones meant to overwrite the old ones just in case.
So if you were using the latest ones, there would not be any land there to begin with (The southern part of the map and the north-western part)

The content from TR_Travels has been integrated into TR_Mainland now, so it's no longer necessary

And as for TR_Preview, if you still want the land outside of the public release you can use the section files which you can download from the site, through this isn't recommended for normal gameplay

Also, as a side note TR_Factions.esp should be below TR_Mainland.esm

I turned off TR_Travels.esp and TR_Preview.esp in settings.

After this change there is no more yellow objects in this far place as on the screeshot, but there is no more nothing..No terrain. A few huge rock now just levitating in the air. and I walking trough endless sea.

But  n Old Ebonheard in transport chamber.are stil yellow things.

By the way, haw can I set uploaded picture to see it in the post as can I see in other posts?

Hmm, if you're still having issues it might be because some of the stuff from those old files got baked into your savefile

You could try installing "Tamriel_Data Graveyard": https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/52000?tab=files to see if that fixes it

But if that doesn't work I'm afraid I don't know how to fix it either

Aha, I noticed another problem after turning off TR_Travels.esp and TR_Preview.esp.

In Old Ebonheart, Docks, on the ship, dialog option "Travels.".

3 options:

1.Ildrim

2. Almas Thirr

3. Ebonheart

After this loading change option 3 is missing. I can't travel in Ebonheart.

Just one question more:

Is there any tool for clearing / repairing openmw save files?

After detailed observation of this yellow object on different locations, I found this answer for my problem.

At this yellow objects in fact is nothing missing. Just as I can remember from before this last update.

I'm having issues with the meshes not loading as well. I've been trying to go into Skyrim: Home of the Nords but whenever I go to Dagon Fel it tells me it can't find the meshes and Fast-Travel is covered in yellow marks. I've been going back and forth between the game launcher, the .ini files -are there supposed to be two, BASE and BAKED- and the game. Help, please? And I moved the Archives down ontop of Game Files, as I understand it's supposed to be down there.

Nevermind, all I had to do was extract the BSAs and manually put them into Data Files.
