The set looks like it could have limited use as weapons wielded by Imperial knights, bodyguards and the like, and set up for display. On the whole, though, I doubt it would pop up much in Morrowind, which isn’t necessarily an issue.
This is so cool Asylum, great looking swords, I love the handles. Where are the data files? :)
I’d suggest having a special Breton sword smith located in Old Ebonheart who sells them and then only have them on a few other NPCs/locations.
For their damage I’d say just a bit above Silver and Steel swords (just below Dwarven), so that there’s much higher chance for it to be an upgrade for the player when he finds it, rather than use the same values as for Silver and Steel and end up with 3 weapon types that do the exact same damage. I’d set the enchant values at 1.5x of that of Steel.
Very nice! Like Gnomey said, they wouldn’t be widespread, but they would be very cool to find in a few places in-game, especially in the west.
Does: concepts, textures, youtube vids, admin stuff e.g. PR, handbook, assets, small website things. Activity level: wildly unpredictable. Still active. Find me on Discord.
I’ve had a go at it and fixed the collision issues that were present on the meshes. I’ve also structured and renamed all files according to our naming conventions. They can now be added to TR_Data with ease. Furthermore, I’ve made an ESP that adds them to the CS. Damage = 1,15x of Steel, enchant = 1,5x of Steel, weight = 1,075x of Steel, health = same as Steel, value = 3x of Steel. With these figures it’s generally a little better than Steel, Silver and Nordic weapons (though not in all regards) but still noticeably weaker than Dwarven (its enchant value is higher though).
Thank you so much for cleaning up my mess. I’ll check what you did and i’ll try to make cleaner models in the future.
It wasn’t a mess at all. You only scaled the meshes down without their vertices which caused their collision to stay at 100 times of the visual size. The fact that your models do look so amazing is the only important thing
