Here's a new resouce pack.

 

It contains a couple of interesting statics such as a Nordic / Imperial stone bridge that could be nice for our North-Western parts. 

 

There are also some different Velothi houses that could be great to diversify our existing Velothi cities, but they do require some adjustments (especially the texturing) IMO.

Adds a large variation of armors that are specificlly designed to fit into morrowind and it uses vanilla Textures.

Many of those do look good, though the blue and green colors would have to go for those first two sets.

If anything, atleast the model. Textures can always change.

I'm going to say right now that I'll tend to be a nay-sayer when it comes to resource packs, as I'm concerned about our quality and art direction and tend to think a lot of resource mods tend to not match one or the other. (Not putting them down here; some resources have a nice aesthetic which I don't think matches ours, some have noticeably very high quality models or textures that would look out of place next to ours).
From my experience, a lot of stuff suggested in resource packs don't really add much to the project other than variety for the sake of variety. It's stuff I feel we can take or leave, and for that reason I think we can afford to only take the really good stuff. If the resources seem as though they'll really add to the project, like flora that looks well-suited to one of our regions, I'll tend to be a bit more flexible.

 

Better Ships and Boats – the reason I'm not sure about using this resource pack is because it's better ships and boats, not more ships and boats. It's clearly intended to replace the default boats, not to be used alongside them. I don't think this will add the right kind of variety to our ports.
Tydz Small Mods – the stone bridge models are interesting, but they're really the only things in the screenshots I think we could use.
OAAB Armor Preview – I'll take an apparently unpopular position and say I don't think we should use these. To me, most are clearly a bunch of vanilla models cobbled together with different vanilla textures applied on top. To be completely frank, I think a lot of them are interesting as concepts but clunky in execution. As a more general statement, I really think we should avoid cobbled-together assets and retextures, unless they're very well done. Though it does depend a bit; for a lot of clothing, especially for stuff like sleeves and pants, retextures work fine.
R-Zero's Random Resources – these resources aren't bad, but I don't really think they are worth adding. I'd like the cephalopod a lot more with longer tentacles, I think.
Rocks and Such - this one was posted before and I like a lot of them, though the texture is often in need of significant improvement or, generally, replacement.
Telvanni Cephalopod Armor – this one is interesting. At the very least I think we can use it for the idea.
Armored Robes Compilation – some of these are interesting, others not quite as much.

Dunmer Noblewomen Overhaul – I replied to this one here.

I agree with Gnomy on this, most of them seem not realy suited for use in TR the few models that seem usable are in need of a slight overhaul texture wise.

I agree too. Lots of the items are not fitting. Even though i made some suggestions. Doesn't mean i would actually want to include them :D.

Yea I was under the impression that this was a thread just for general brainstorming and bringing to light any possible assets for TR, not just for things we would only be using.

Oh yes, I’m totally okay with this thread being for brainstorming; I sort of wanted to make my policy on actually including resources clear from the (relative) get-go, as I got the impression that we might not be on the same page. Seems I didn’t need to worry about it though.smiley
