I think it would be helpful to mention what kind of material the texture is supposed to represent, as you do for salt crystals.
K could work as-is going with the yellow/purple colour palette idea; Kaziem’s palette (which, again, may have a higher than intended saturation) does seem to go for more of a pale brown, though, which is one place where my palette aligns with hers.
For the actual salt flats I’d tend to go with the pure white variants, with perhaps occasional inclusions of other colours. (The inclusions should be separate textures to be used sparingly, as they won’t tile well).
For rocks and unpure salt textures I’d go with the lightest brown variants.
Edit: The most obvious missing texture, which should probably be the most frequently used, is the pale grass texture. Aside from that, the standard grass/salt flat, grass/dirt and dirt/salt flat combinations would also be nice, but I assume those are best left to the end, once we’ve already agree on a look for the individual terrain types.
I like these textures, though a lot of them are way more saturated that I imagine would be good for the Deshaan. Is everyone making sure they’re using royalty-free, not copyrighted stock for all this?
