I keep getting these warnings everytime I boot up the game. I've copied the data folder of TR multiple times. Just can't get my head around this, help would be appreciated. smiley

First things first. Did you register the BSA in the morrowind.ini (or .cfg for open morrowind)?

That is the most common problem solver.

Since these are all missing sounds, are you sure you copied the loose files too and not only the BSAs?

Hi there, I too have the exact same error messages (word for word) popping up when running Morrowind at main menu. I have registered the BSAs both in Morrowind main directory as well as in Mod Organizer 2's ini tab. I am able to play the game but like the initial poster would like to fix these error messages if possible. Tamriel rebuilt, tamriel data (HD),  and rebuilt hotfix are first in load order after main game. When I turn off the other mods, (morrowind enhanced 1.0, patch for purists, graphic herbalism, etc.) I still get the same error messages with TM, TD, and hotfix plus base game alone (bloodmoon and tribunal of course too).  Is it foolish to try and run Tam Rebuilt through Mod organizer 2? In order to get the Tamriel Data in correct order I had to set the data directory to the "data" portion. Also when installing the mods, tam rebuilt, and tam data i did not disable my windows defender. Could this be an issue? Should I ditch mod organizer 2 and learn how to use wrye mash? Or install mods directly to game directory? But then how would I determine the load order of the mods ?

Ive got the same error. I hope someone finds a solution, ive been trying to fix it all day.

It now works for me, i did 2 things diffrent this time, i put the content of tamriel data, folder; 00_core, both in morrowind folder and in Data. Perhaps would have worked if i would have unpacked it according to instructions to begin with. The second thing is probably irrelevant, but i entered the inputs in morrowind.ini manually instead of copy paste. I hope this will help someone.

Registering your BSA will do nothing, because these are all loose files. Just copy them over to Data alongside the BSAs and you will be fine.

I would like to boost this thread. Just started Morrowind and trying to add a few mods, but getting errors exactly like this. I have registered the PT_Data and TR_Data BSAs in my Morrowind.ini. All of the files have gone through both mod manager installation and manual installation (including the Sounds). Haven't had many issues with the mod, just seemed to suddenly not want to produce certain sounds and objects. Fewer than op, but still enough to warrant concern. Has anyone found a concrete solution to this? Warnings log below. These appear in-game before the main menu is even loaded.

Okay so I know this is quite soon after I posted that comment, but I found the solution. For me, it was a load order problem. I wasn't loading Tamriel_Data.esm and TR_Mainland.esm right after the Morrowind, Tribunal, and Bloodmoon master files. I changed the "Last Modified" dates with Wrye Mash to adjust the load order and I don't get those errors anymore. If anyone is having this problem and would like to use Wrye Mash to solve it, I'll leave a spoiler with the steps I took. Basically, just make sure your load order is right and you shouldn't get these errors anymore. Also, a million thanks to this video from Tamriel Rebuilt for helping me come to this realization.

Solving Error with Wrye Mash

**By the way, I'm not particularly advanced in terms of modding knowledge, so forgive me if this is too informal or direct (or possibly even wrong). This is just what got it working for me.

So from what I understand about Morrowind, it wants to load the esm's that were modified last as last, while the ones with the oldest "last modified" dates are loaded first. So I gave the Morrowind masterfile the earlier date, then Bloodmoon, Tribunal, Tamriel_Data, and TR_Mainland. Then all my other mods load after that with later dates. Simple as that. After I fixed the dates, no more errors.

Screenshot of what the top of my Wrye Mash looks like. Also, note that these are NOT LISTED BY LOAD ORDER!! Remember that they are loaded by earliest to latest date. For some reason, Mash doesn't reorder it when you change the dates.

To edit the dates, I went to the top right, 3 spaces below where it says "Morrowind Mod File v1.3," and changed them in that field, keeping with the same format as it was already listed. Then hit save and you're all patched up. Just make sure that no two mods are loaded at the exact same time.

EDIT 1: I realize that the dates on Tamriel_Data and TR_Mainland say 2012, but it still fixed it for me. Changed it to 2000 and it's still working.
