Hello, I want to remove this mod so badly, but I can not for the life of me figure a way out. Wrye Mash seems like a good option, but there are zero tutorials on how to install it and use it, or to clean up files with it. PLEASE HELP ME! I want to play Vanilla Morrowind again. Thank you.

Just untick the mod in the launcher.

Otherwise just delete them from the folder you installed them too.

Well the problem with unticking the mod is that when I try to load it gives me a million error messages telling me stuff is missing. And as for just deleting it from the file installed into, there are WAY too many folders to delete to do that; eventually it would be like looking for a needle in a hay stack.

If you want to play vanilla, I'd just uninstall the entire game and reinstall it. You may still need to back up and clean any saves you want to keep, though.

Hang on which version of the mod are you using? The most recent one everything is stored .bsa's so you shouldnt have to go looking for loose files.

Let me guess: you didn't register the BSAs and you probably don't know what this question means.

Just untick Tamriel Rebuit's ESM/ESPs in the launcher, then untick Tamriel_Data.esm in the launcher and you're good.

REPLY TO ALL: I am using the latest version of TR, I had made a profile way before I installed the mod so I don't want to go back to my last vanilla save, and I did register the BSAs which I also unregistered. The problem seems to be that I need to clean the saves but there seems to be NO tutorial on that whatsoever anywhere.

UPDATE: I have gotten Wrye Mash to work, but when I try to clean the saves it says nothing's wrong, but when I load the game eit says the master files are missing. Any tips?

Your error descriptions are really bad, which makes it nearly impossible to help you.
When you say "it says the master files are missing", what precisely does it say? Can you post a screenshot of the error message or your warnings.txt, then a screenshot from what Wrye Mash shows of your file list?

I'm assuming you are using latest Polemos' version of Wrye Mash. If not, you should.

Usually you can get rid of "masters missing" errors just loading in-game a save and resaving. Problem is by default you will have to click the "ignore error" 1000 times.

People usually just set Morrowind.ini to be able to skip/ignore repeated error messages.

From Polemos' mash mods tab, right click the FIle header, Morrowind.ini..., verify you have a line like this under [General] section. If not, add it and save

[General]
AllowYesToAll=1

this should make you able to skip all these repeated loading warning messages.

if you are able to skip the warning message and load the save in game , just resave it and the missing masters references will be stripped from the save.

if you fail to load the save even with the AllowYesToAll=1 option,

you may try directly removing the masters from Mash:

1. from Polemos' mash Saves tab, right click the save, File, Duplicate, give the copy a easy to find name like e.g. test

2. from Polemos' mash Saves tab, click the just copied "test" save, untick the "Tamriel_Data.esm", "TR_Mainland.esm" under the master column to the right, press the Save button on the bottom right.

3. try loading in game the test save. if it loads, try keeping playing/saving from there
