Hi. I recently installed TR, and followed all the steps in the readme file. After casting an almsivi intervention spell in sadrith mora to reach ranyon-rhun on the mainland, I encountered some errors that meant the TR_Data.bsa wasn’t being loaded
First error screen here: http://imgur.com/lsbWLhp
I read that there must be a problem with the registration of the data files in the morrowind.ini, but everything seemed in order (I think)

I’ve tried new games with only the tamriel rebuilt files, and it still makes errors, so it’s not due to other mods. I’m not sure what the problem is, so help would be great!
many thanks.

Is that installed in C:\Program Files? Depending on Windows version, it can create issues with bsas.

It’s installed in C:\program files (x86), yes. Would I have to move the folder to a different drive, or something along those lines?

I’m having problems these problems as well, I’ve tried moving it to another drive, I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it on another drive outside of Program Files and it didn’t matter. I’ve installed other TR updates in the past on my older computer, so I know I’m doing it right, but it doesn’t seem to work on my current computer. It also doesn’t seem to matter if its through steam or discs.

First, I would suggest redownloading the files. Every once in a blue moon Nexus or Google hickups and screws up a download.
You may want to check the cryptographic hash numbers to be sure the file downloaded properly.
After unzipping the files, make sure everything is in the proper place.
Are TR_Data.bsa, TR_Data.esm and TR_Mainland.esm in the “Morrowind/Data Files” folder?
You seem to have the bsa file registered properly:
Archive 2=TR_Data.bsa
If you still are having problems, attach the “Warnings.txt” file found in the Morrowind folder. We’ll see what we can do.

TinyWizard4 – where did you download the file from. After seeing all these problems, I’m wondering if our file may be corrupt on one of the servers.
