I think I can ask this here… I can't find the widower’s ring. There weren't any clues, and I asked the thieves guild: they knew nothing. Am I supposed to cure his cold first for him to drop a hint?

What the widower says (If you are curious).
First, a few months ago... my wife of twenty years... passed away. We had lived together in Helnim since before our marriage - I even proposed to her before that very well outside. I... I was struck by this great loss, but maintained my support for the Cult. But now -- it seems the gods just toy with me! First, I was struck down by this illness [he coughs]... and now I am unable to find my old wedding ring, the one thing that gave me solace! I... find it hard to have faith any more.

Doh! I don't believe it, thanks! How'd I miss that? I immediately suspected thieves, but I intimidated everyone at the den – still nothing. Now I see why... :D
