Hello, Matt here. I am interested in contributing to Interior design for TR. I wll start work on my showcase soon, but I have a question. In the rules for submitting a interior showcase, it states I must use the Furn_de static items. I do not understand why I am only able to use these, as for my claim I may want to use the Furn_com statics to fit the theme of the interior. I also plan to do a 2-story common styled residence (If it’s allowed), and No NPC’s, correct?
EDIT: As well as an Interior showcase, I will post a Quest showcase aswell. The Quest is titled “The Apothecary’s Demise”. It is one of my recent quest mods from the Nexus, and I’ll be using it as my Quest showcase. See below for the interior (being reviewed) and the Quest Showcase and their files and descriptions.
Thank you, and I look foward to helping TR.

Welcome to Tamriel Rebuilt! I hope you have fun with your showcase and look forward to it!
The reason for furn_de is that those pieces are trickier in properly placing stuff on them. As such, they demonstrate your abilities more clearly.

Alright, I have finished my Interior Showcase. It is a 3x2 small velothi styled home, with 2-stories. The cell that the SC is located in is “TR_matt_interior_sc”.
Hope you enjoy!

Quest Showcase
I’ll also be posting a Quest Showcase aswell. The Quest it titled “The Apothecary’s Demise”. This quest is one of my recent mods, and also includes a small, semi-growing player home.
Here’s the description I gave it on the Nexus: Apothecary's Demise is a quest mod (For any level but +11 for dungeon) about choice, that starts in the quaint abode in the Ascadian Isles. Upon entering this nice Apothecary's Abode, you are greeted with a dead apothecary, and a note written in his dying breath. The note reads: "Don't go in the cellar, under any circumstance!". Blood is covering the note. What is hidden in the cellar? What sort of secrets are hiding behind the walls? During this quest, you will continue to discover about the house, and its odd, dead inhabitant, Naio. You meet Naio's sister Narsi, and tell her of the Apothecary's demise. You say: "Naio wanted you to have this ring". She knows what this means. He's done it. Years of work leading up to this moment... and now he's dead. This quest mod features a growing home, that will act as a player home, and the main quest area. This quest also features a large dungeon, designed for players around level +11.
How to start quest: Head to the Apothecary’s Abode, North of Pelagiad, on a peninsula.
If you need help with the quest, see the Quest Guide readme. Other quest information are included in the readme.
Attached is the compressed folder with all the files.

Review #2
I can see that you are not using the selection box to its utmost potential. In most cases, the selection box will tell you whether something is bleeding or floating. When you place object A on top of object B, the bottom of the selection box of object A should have 4 clearly visible dashed lines (usually the red and green ones). If you don't see the lines, then object A is bleeding into object B. If the lines are solid, then object A is floating. Most of the de_p furniture have uneven surfaces. This requires you to rotate objects in the X and Y directions, in order for them to sit flat on this furniture. The Item Placement Tutorial goes over this quite well.
Unfortunately, some of the fixes that you made, inadvertently cause the items on top of them to bleed. This is why the list is a bit long. Most of them just need to be re “F”d into place.
Stuff that should bleed. Sacks and clothing should bleed into the object that they rest/sit on. But only a small amount. I’ve asked for the sacks to be repositioned, but not the clothing. Just keep in mind that only a small amount of all 4 edges of the clothing need to bleed. This is due to most of the clothing not having a bottom texture.
Items that need fixing

Hey Matt, welcome, I’ve had a look at your file and want to say that it looks really good already. The interior has a nice atmosphere.
Please don’t be discouraged by the long lists of issues.
Our quality standards for interiors are incredibly high, much higher than the ones Bethesda had when they made Morrowind.
I had to go through a similar experience as you when I first applied here and it really shocked me at first, as I had already worked as a professional level designer for a large EA studio and expected that I’d get instantly through with my first submission.
Instead it actually took me two revisions before I was finally promoted

Okay Seneca, I will make those fixes and take your advice. I’ll try to do this within a few days!
Ragox, thank you for the kind words and a warm welcome! I appreciate the reassurance

Hey, I see a quest showcase has been overlooked in here – MattTheBagel, if you’re still around, does this still need reviewing?
