Hi

I've been following this project for years and for some reason it never occured to me to look into joining until now

I have some experience with the construction set from playing around in it when I was a kid and I'm surprised by how much I still remember although I never did anything particularly advanced with it, mostly just creating dungeons, but the basics are all still there

I originally went with the ex_hlaalu8_b_16 model for the shell with a 4x2x2 house inside until I realised the shell didn't quite fit the layout length-wise, so I extended to 5x2x2 and went with the t_de_sethla_x_building_12 model (I've included it in the interior worldspace for ease, obviously I wouldn't do that for the real thing)

In terms of backstory, Mathes is a labourer in the Narsis docks who inherited a large property in the city, he's not by any means rich as his furnishings will tell you but he is proud to own a large home in the Hlaalu capital.

There is an egg mine and an ancestral tomb in the file but I'm not submitting them as my showcase although if you want to look at them go ahead, neither are 100% finished, the cell I'm submitting is the TR_Narsis, Mathes Androthan's House

But anyway let me know what you think

Join us on Discord to get better (faster) responce.
This is very good start but there are still some mistakes like bleeders, floaters and style mixing(T_MwDe_SetDre_U1Rice10 is for dres)
You should also spice up your hous by using more tapestries (2 or 3 types max)
Sunlight should be below 20. Your file should not be dependant on TR_Mainland
This might be helpfull: https://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/forum/int-dev-cheatsheet

Thanks for the review

I'll get to work with those suggestions

Is there any way to take TR_Mainland out of my file now? I've tried loading up without it but its still there

Okay take 2

I couldn't figure out how to get the Wyremesh to work so I've started fresh on a new file, gone smaller this time using the ex_hlaalu_b_16 model

Based on what Bero said I've scanned through for floaters and bleeders, (the only things bleeding are the soft objects that should be) made sure to stick to one style and fixed the lighting

Ticked off every box as far as I'm aware but there's still a chance I've missed something

Good start thus far. I have not completed a full review, see message on discord

See below for preliminary review:

Name: TR_Narsis, Mathes Androthan's House
Needs correction. Names should fit this scheme: [Project Abbreviation]_[Exterior Claim Acronym]_[Type of Interior]_#. For example, TR_LA1_Tomb_3.
For a showcase something like TR_ShowcaseX is fine.

Clean: Yes.
Lighting: Fine.
Northmarker: Present.
Fits exterior: Fits b_16. The ext shell is intrinsically a bit janky re fitting an interior, but you meet the standard for it.
Pathgrid: Needs correction.
Pathgrid: (Nodes or yellow lines) should not bleed through any objects. Also, generally aim to have one node per walkable interior tile.
Illegal to Sleep Here: Yes. Correct.
Gridsnap: Yes.
Has TD items: Yes. Good.
De_p: Yes.
Sufficiently cluttered: Could do with a touch more clutter across the interior. Eg: more on furn_de_p_table_01; something else on furn_de_p_stool_01. Generic poor clutter across the int. Perhaps another shelf. I imagine another 20 or so refs would suffice, but aim for it visually appearing cluttered (and not over-cluttered) rather than an arbitrary number. Things like bottles, cloth etc make good clutter. Check out recently reviewed Narsis ints for inspo.

Bleeders:
furn_de_tapestry_03
furn_de_tapestry_07

Floaters:
netch_leather_boots - ideally should be slightly tilted.

Greenlight:
light_de_lantern_03

Other:
in_hlaalu_room_rail - improper use downstairs

Resubmitted

Thanks for reviewing. Is there an acceptable level of greenlight? I went with the lower radius lamps but they still emitted a little bit of green light on the rope they were hanging from and obviously I can't move the rope anywhere else.

Left feedback on discord.
----
Name: TR_SH1_House_1
Fine. Althought I meant that as an example of formatting not a suggestion.

Clean: yes
Lighting: fine
Northmarker: present
Fits exterior: Fits b_16. The ext shell is intrinsically a bit janky re fitting an interior, but you meet the standard for it.
Pathgrid: Fine
Gridsnap: fine
Has TD items: Yes. Good.
De_p: Yes.
Sufficiently cluttered: Yes.

Bleeders:
netch_leather_boots - tilted a touch too much
furn_de_tapestry_03 - by upstairs planter (rope into plaster); by lamp (rope into plaster); top of stairs (rope into plaster)
furn_de_screen_guar_01 - upstairs into in_hlaalu_room_rail
bk_OriginOfTheMagesGuild into bk_Mysticism
T_De_Drink_GuarMilk_01 on table.
misc_com_bottle_01 (closer to wall on table)
misc_com_bottle_02 on table
light_de_candle_09_64
furn_de_tapestry_07 opposite downstairs vase/urn. spike into wood.
Misc_DE_pot_redware_03; misc_de_pot_redware_01 on bookshelf
potion_comberry_brandy_01 on bookshelf
potion_comberry_wine_01 on bookshelf
Potion_Local_Brew_01 on bookshelf
T_De_ClayBowl01 on bookshelf
T_De_ClayCup01 on bookshelf

Floaters:
misc_de_bowl_01
misc_com_bottle_01
misc_de_goblet_03
misc_de_drum_01 (can probably be lifted and f dropped)
Greenlight:
light_de_candle_09_64 - this can be moved on the table to correct it
misc_de_goblet_01 on floor
furn_planter_01 downstairs

Other:
Grass/planter could be resized. But fine and not in need of correction.
T_Bk_FatherOfTheNibenPC outside of niche uses, generally stick to TR books for TR ints
de_p_closet_02 - empty. a filled version would be more fitting.
misc_de_bowl_01 - blueware is too fancy for this int
try to make books flush against eachother if next to eachother on a shelf

Thanks

I'm making progress and will hopefully be in a position to resubmit soon, I've changed the books on the shelf upstairs to be TR only and only ones that are common in use in the rest of the world, what's the reason for only using TR books though? Wouldn't the books on Vvardenfell still be in circulation on the mainland? I've cut the boots at least for now, I couldn't find an example of them placed properly anywhere else in the world and they aren't in any way essential to the build.

Everything should be fixed now, the wireframe tool was very useful
