Just been fooling around in the deep South of Morrowind. Almalexia took my breath away and is amazing to walk around, I can’t wait to see it full of life.

Is there a general rule of thumb of where I can expect NPC presence? Complete noob to the mod looking for where and where not to go!

Is populating Almalexia high on the to-do list? Its an incredible place.

Hello, glad you like TR.

NPCs and quests are mainly in the parts of TR_Mainland – that is the eastern half, north of Enamor Dayn and East of Almalexia and Old Eboneheart. There’s some splattered NPCs around some Redoran cities in the east, but they too are just previews and don’t have much to say.

Populating Almalexia is on the to-do list, but first it needs to undergo a  not so slight rework. TR decided a while ago that it would have to edit vanilla content and Tribunal’s Mournhold is one of the reasons for this: it’s a non-euclidean gameplay convenience that falls flat on its face as soon as it’s placed in a real city.
Unfortunately, every time Almalexia is about to be redone, people start arguing and quitting all over the place… so we’d better wait until opening that can of worms again.

I’m in love and it turns out I haven’t been to the actually finished parts yet! Great work.

Do you mean the player being teleported to/from Mournhold and never needing to go into Almalexia? I can see why that would seem pointless and jarring. But as someone who’s never touched the DLC in any TES game I’d much like to see some token NPCs and small questlines in Almalexia proper and just leave the rework until everyone is happy with the outcome. Teyn and the big town on the southern river are great as well.

Thanks again, looking forward to seeing the eastern sections today
