Hello, this is a placeholder while I work on an Interior Showcase.
I have claimed the following claim:
Narsis, St. Veloth Quarter #53 - Apartments
https://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/claims/narsis-st-veloth-quarter-53-apart...
WIP pending, slight mixup in the advice I recieved so this thread is up before I have a WIP to show
Will review the unclaimed interiors tomorrow find an alternative.
This will be a standalone showcase, not associated with any particular claim
Edited as per Jackimoff's review. Also including the esp in the original post, as that seems to be the done thimg here

Apologies, another aspirant already started working on that claim as showcase: https://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/forum/bob-page-interior-showcase
However your work can still be judged as a claim independant of a showcase.
Sorry again for any confusion.

No problem. It's all good practice ultimately. I'll update my post. It was listed as unclaimed when I commented on it and made this post.
I'll think about whether to continue with this as an independent showcase. It'd be nice for the time to go into a cell that will be used though, so I'm tempted to pick a different claim (tomorrow).2022-09-11 22:01

First upload of my showcase. This was initially intended to be related to the claim in the original post, but has since become a standalone showcase. However this does mean the showcase is intended to reflect a Hlaalu shell 07, with an unlinked upstairs and downstairs. Lower apartment is home to a Camonna Tong loan shark, upper apartment is home to a clerk working at the Hlaalu Council hall.
Cellnames are TR_Narsis_Apartment_Upper and TR_Narsis_Apartment_Lower
Because this is not linked to claim, the doors link to each other. This was done to (hopefully) show that I know how doormarkers work. Obviously in a real claim I would link the doors to the appropriate cell (would have been Narsis 6,-50).
Thanks in advance for comment and criticism

Name: TR_Narsis_Apartment_Lower_53
Clean: Yes, good
Lighting:
Sunlight too low, change to 30,20,10
Fog is greyscale, change the values so all three aren't the same
Northmarker: Correct
Fits exterior: Yes, good
Pathgrid: A Few unnecessary nodes, try to use triangles to cover as much space as possible with as few nodes. This cell can be covered to a satisfactory degree with 4 nodes.
Illegal to Sleep Here: Yes, good
Gridsnap: Yes, good
Set Mismatch: None, good
Bleeders:
active_de_p_bed_13, into the tapestry at the back
bk_BiographyBarenziah1 into the strut on the top corner
furn_de_p_chair_02, into the rug a very tiny amount
furn_de_p_table_01, into the floor
furn_de_rug_02, into the wall a very tiny amount
light_de_candle_07_64 x 2, for lights set your object move setting under File->preferences to 0.1 and move them until the red box becomes dotted where it meets the surface. For some reason, F-Dropping doesn't work on lights so it has to be done manually.
misc_de_foldedcloth00, bottom of the stack, into the shelf
Floaters:
misc_com_wood_knife, just needs an f-drop
misc_de_foldedcloth00, on the table, needs rotating
Rescaled miscs: None, good
Other:
The objects on the top shelf still need rotating to sit flat, but damn fine work with the books. Nearly flawless.
common_pants_01 needs lowering very slighty as it is caspering a tiny bit
Tapestries should be moved forwards such that the knot is clear of the wall. Only the stick should be in the wall, the rope knot should not be bled into it.
rugs with tassles, such as furn_de_rug_big_07, should be sunk into the ground such that their tassles rest on the floor.
Just to note, if this were a normal int that would be a lot of books for a poor interior. Plus we generally avoid putting complete collections of books in one int. Not an issue for a showcase, but something to remember going forward.

Name: TR_Narsis_Apartment_Upper_53
Lighting: Same issues as other cell. Also swap light_de_lantern_02_128 for one that casts a normal light colour, blue lights are reserved for places where mages operate (mage's guild, enchanters shops etc.)
Northmarker: Yes, good
Fits exterior: Yes, good
Pathgrid: Two unnecessary nodes
Illegal to Sleep Here: Yes, good
Gridsnap: Yes, good
Set Mismatch: None, good
Bleeders:
active_de_p_bed_10, into the rug
chest_small_02_gold_50, into the floor and the rug
furn_de_rug_01 into the bookshelf leg
furn_de_p_chair_02 x 2, both into the rug
furn_de_p_table_01, into the rug
misc_com_bottle_05, on the shelf by the barrels, into the shelf slightly
misc_com_bucket_01, into the rug
misc_de_foldedcloth00, under the tankard
netch_leather_boots, into the floor and wall
Floaters:
furn_de_p_table_02, by the bed
misc_de_bowl_redware_03, middle one
netch_leather_gauntlet_left
Rescaled miscs: None, good
Other:
When furniture, such as active_de_p_bed_10, is half on a rug it must be rotated so that all 4 legs are still touching the floor. Same as you did with the barrel in this cell.
Same issue with clothing as the other cell, they need to be sunk into the surface it's on because it has no bottom texture.
Same issue with tapesries & rugs with tassles as the other cell.
Perfect rotation of the chitin club, very nice!
