I noticed that I am still shown in the „currently active users” list after logging out. Can anyone look into this and, if necessary, once force-logoff me?
Thanks.
EDIT: seems to be solved already –– thanks again if any of you was involved. suddenly the logoff worked as expected.
Seems not to be solved; now I am „active” again even half an hour after logging out… please, could somebody look into this?

I think (but don’t take my word for it) the site only updates once every hour or so unless you’re logged in, not sure if much can be done about that other than removing the “Active Users” section for guest users.

which wouldn’t exactly make a point since it makes the forum seem unused and vacant. But it is irritating when you’re not logged in and everybody else thinks you are because the list says so.
Thanks nonetheless, I’ll keep an eye on myself being logged in when I am not. I really shouldn’t do that.

When you’re not logged in the site shows you a cached page. So, it doesn’t account for recent changed. You’re not getting logged back in at random (though, you may get logged out at random depending on your cookie settings).
Does: concepts, textures, youtube vids, admin stuff e.g. PR, handbook, assets, small website things. Activity level: wildly unpredictable. Still active. Find me on Discord.

That’d be something… logging out people right before they can click „save” and having them stare at „You’re not allowed to do that”…
It takes a bit of time to get used to that caching, but OK, once one knows that, it’s far less frightening. Thanks, Kaziem.

The site logs out people at around 30 days, as a security feature.
There are two caches involved in the active user block:
So if nothing happens on the forums and you are not logged in, you will see yourself as logged in for quite a while. It may be irritating, but it prevents unnecessary database queries.
