Heyo! Not new to modding or anything, I made the Sobitur Facility mod years back and just stepped back into Morrowind again and did a fresh install with MGO and Tamriel Rebuilt, and I went to Mournhold and went out the front gate only to find, well, this::

Tons of missing stuff, and I’d noticed a missing Redoran table too but I am not sure if that one is related since it’s in the middle of Ald’Ruhn.

Love TR and have been following it since the first release way back, and would like to enjoy all the new content. Is the newest release missing needed textures or what? And yes I did all the usual and made sure all the ESM’s etc are activated.

I feel silly for asking this, given your experience, but did you register the BSA file?

The latest release (15.12) has been tested extensively. You must have some other problem, maybe load order. What other mods do you have?

Hey, i’ve been trying for maybe 4 hours or so to get this mod to work, but every time I go to the continent it lists a shit ton of meshes as missing and then crashes when an animation is missing.
I'm not a genius or anything but I have a number of mods for morrowind and both expansions so I somewhat know what i'm doing. I'm not fully sure what i've done wrong but it might have to do with registering the .bsa. I have the path in the .ini listed as "Archive 2=TR_Data.bsa"
When I use the BSA registration utility and try TR_Data it says I need the .esm version running (which it is) or if I select the TR_Data in the data files folder it sets the path in the .ini to "Archive 2=Data Files\TR_Data.bsa"
neither make a difference, I get the same crash reguardless. I am using an old save but it has never had an incompatibility issue before. But jsut in case, the mods I am using are:
Better Bodies
Grow Towers
MMGR-Archmages privilages
Magistrate Mages revamped
Morrowind Code Patch
Uvirith's legacy 3.41
apotheosis
All of these are done correctly and have never been an issue before. Help?

I don’t know if you’re asking me (I should have made my own thread whoops) but I have it installed default C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind

I don’t know if you’re asking me (I should have made my own thread whoops) but I have it installed default C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind

That could be your problem. Try this:

  • Create a new folder e.g. C:\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind
  • Copy the content of C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind to C:\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind
  • Make sure that TR_Data.bsa is registered in your new copy of Morrowind.ini
  • Launch the new copy of Morrowind Launcher and check if you’re still missing meshes

In the Morrowind Directory you should have a file called Morrowind.ini

All that the BSA registration software does is add a line to the [Archives] section. You can look/edit this .ini file with any text editor.

You should see the following (or something similar) under [Archives]. This section is usually way down towards the bottom of the file.

Archive 0=Tribunal.bsa

Archive 1=Bloodmoon.bsa

Archive 2 =TR_Data.bsa

If you have other .bsa files registered, they will also appear in the this list. The only requirement, we have, is that TR_Data.bsa must come after both Tribunal and Bloodmoon.

In the Morrowind directory you should see a directory/folder named “Data Files”. This is where all our files should go. If you downloaded our .zip file, then just extract all the files, and directories/folders, to this directory [...\Morrowind\Data Files]. You should see the TR_Data.bsa, TR_Data.esm, TR_Mainland.esm, and our extra files TR_Preview.esp, and TR_Travels.esp. Additional files will also be add to the BookArt, Doc, and Sound directories/folders.

Before playing, be sure to select the ‘Data Files' TR_Data.esm and TR_Mainland.esm. You can also select TR_Travels.esp, which adds new NPCs to Vvardenfell who will take you to various locations on the Mainland. And if you want to see what we are working on, then you can select TR_Preview.esp. BUT BE WARNED. TR_Preview is under heavy development and will be changing often. We can not guarentee that games ‘saved' with TR_Preview selected will work in the future.

Hey it worked! Thanks! But there is another issue, not a massive concern but when I load my game it tells me that the scripts for fast eddie and the heart of lorkhan have been changed. i think these scripts for fast eddie for the tel uvirith’s mod, and the lorkhan script for the apotheosis mod (yeah i know it’s cheap but it’s fun). Do you know if that’s standard for tam rebuilt to change those or is that a data files problem?

TR does not change the scripts for fast eddie (fastEddieScript) nor the heart of lorkhan.
