Hello.

My first showcase; interior design with CSSE.
I'm still a bit rusty with the tools, but not my first time modding MW (though nothing public).

Looking forward to feedback.

Background

Poor urban dwelling for one dunmer; Contains public/social/worship area (most lavish), cooking area with tableware and food storage, sleeping area with personal belongings, storage area with (kinda) hidden (kinda) goodies.

Dunmer is traditional (family shrine); prole (no tools or trade); drinks and gambles to dull the misery. Prized belongings are family heirlooms placed on the altar (bonemold helm, greenware cup and a soul gem), a blueware pot (perhaps too expensive?) and an expensive shirt to look presentable during Temple sermons and other public occassions.

Some notes

- The axe is placed as to chop firewood. I wouldn't really have used this axe model for that goal but I found that to be the most fun purpose for it. The dunmer's warrior ancestry is long gone and most of their possessions have been sold to pay off debt or whatever;
- The blueware pot may be too much but I liked the color a lot, will replace it if needed, no problem;
- I placed mist generators near the cauldron to give some life to the kitchen, like it's being used as the player enters the interior. The poor mer could do with some better ventilation. I find it a fun concept but would have no issue removing the mist if inappropriate use;
- The northmarker is placed in some basically random direction as the interior is not connected to an exterior.

Completely fair, the firepit stands out too much I suppose.

  • Removed firepit & mist - replaced with a cart;
  • Moved main table a small bit, resized carpet under it due to bleeding, and rotated the basket more properly;
  • Replaced some paper lamps with dimmer variants due to greenlight;
  • Removed a lamp due to greenlight.

This should be better.

Incomplete review - please address these bits, then I'll do the more in-depth review for bleeders etc

Lighting: fine

Pathgrid: collides with cart
Illegal to Sleep Here: fine

Bleeders:
active_de_p_bed_28 - items shouldn't bleed into rugs

Other:
Too cramped upstairs and downstairs. The hammock in the corner too greatly restricts manuevarable space, as does the cart.
would suggest altering the layout to match a b_05, so there's space to put a bed in a deadend rather than a hallway
also you should use pillow 2 with hammocks

cut the cart as it takes too much space here, i suggest just putting some shack baskets or something there instead

furn_banner_temple_01_indoors shouldn't be used in a residential interior - these are for temples & tombs

waiting doors/family shrines haven't been a common thing since the armistice
the shelf itself can remain tho, just "family shrines" aren't residential anymore

expensive_shirt_02 - not fitting here

for showcase purposes, don't have paper under the coda flower or soul gem

there are unecessary post pieces used upstairs
you can swap the room corners for hall corners
the room side for a hall 3 way
and the stairs for in_hlaalu_hall_stairsl

Ok, I think I addressed all the points.

Though could I suggest using a b_23 exterior then? It's just as tall as b_05 but the downstairs door is in the right place. I then don't have to mirror the entire project layout (I like the door leading straight to the public dining area).

Shame about the shrines, but yeah I guess they're not really found elsewhere in the game.
