Description:

I really liked this dungeon, it's difficult to navigate (in a good way), the enemies are well placed and the three things you have to repair complements the challenges of the dungeon itself

I just have a couple of points that I think could make this dwemer ruin even better

  • Honestly, the final rewards feel kinda underwelming. The dungeon itself is very special and navigating it is challenging but at the end you just find two enchantend weapons that aren't really that interesting, I think one has a unique mesh which is really cool but the stats and enchantments feel lackluster to the point that finding the dwemer repair hammers was atually more exciting than getting the weapons themselves. The fact that the dungeon is a bit hyped up during the quest about dwemer artifacts in Helnim also add to this underwelming feeling.
  • Once you replace the dwemer tube in the tube box, the sparks that come from the machine just behind it should disappear to signify that the machine is now working as intended.
  • I had some troubles finding the steaming leaky tube because leaky tubes are something you normally see in dwemer ruins all around the game, I saw it multiple times but I didn't check since it looked normal. I think that the tube should be paired with a machine that's not running and emits sparks. Both the other two things you have to repair emit sparks, it's kinda weird that this one doesn't.
  • Finally, a suggestion which I'm not really sure myself about but, in case you don't want to upgrade the rewards might be the way to go: you could substitute the corridor lights with the ones near the final revolving door in the brass forge, placing them in a way that can lead the player to the broken machinery. It would be really cool to see sections of the ruin light up once you fix those things. This would also solve the previous point, as it would make it easier to spot the leaky tube. This would make the navigation challenge a bit easier but not too much, since you still have to find all the components needed for the repairs by yourself.
