Loving all the new ingredients! First time trying an alchemist playthrough and some very interesting combinations are possible. I hope someone is keeping track of all the brand new alchemical ingredients being added, because at this stage it seems there are many one-off effects that aren't yet possible to be paired with other ingredients (of course I could be wrong but after many hours of playing I only found for example, one instance of jump or resist normal weapons, and several specific fortify skill effects). I hope someone is keeping track of the general spread of effects and ingredients between regions, and also between vendors (who feel like they've had less oversight-sometimes it feels like believably local produce, sometimes it feels random/generic. Although nowhere near as random/generic as the vanilla ingredient loot containers placed around the mod - seeing lots of ashlands flora in somebody's food sack in coronati basin feels strange). It seems to be much more fortify skill effects are needed.
It would be super nice to have some (more?) flavour text for apothecaries, alchemists, herbalists etc. in each region to describe the local flora (/fauna?) and some useful or unique properties. I believe something like this exists in vanilla. Besides - the entry level MG quests in Balmora not only make you collect ingredients but the Ajirra actually writes a report with her findings - which for an low to mid level alchemist has incredibly useful information about some hidden properties and possible combinations. Some sort of introduction in different regions would feel very immersive and give real local depth. I don't think it's an issue for similar sorts of quests to exist in different places, if they give new insights into the local region.
