You hear rumors of a man recently returning from the typical dungeon crawling adventures. He seemed tired and beat up, and the locals seem worried for his health as his ruin and cavern exploring has become more and more frequent lately.
The Temple has taken interest in a charity case: a citizen of Andothren has a gambling addiction: so much so they have become homeless and now live in the Temple. The player is asked to try and help them out of their predicament.
There's a bunch of players of poker or Craps or some similar chance game in one of the Andothren taverns. The player can join in and possibly win (or lose) some gold.

A caravaner was transporting goods in a wagon. Along the way, someone's run-away guar slammed into the wagon and overturned it. The merchant says he is suffering from a wasting disease and needs help putting the heavy crates back in the cart because he's too weak to himself.
You are approached by an old woman who recognizes you for some reason and asks you to heal her son who has a severe case of Greenspore. He has some type of symptoms that you can cure.
Here, an unreliable voice begins. It should be ambiguous at first, but there should be some indicator to his character afterwards. He asks you to help him kill some people because he thinks he is an important man and that the temple has cursed him, and the imperial legion has a Dwemer machine that affects him remotely.
