I recently remembered that I wrote some dialogue for Roa Dyr some time ago. I thought I might as well compile it into a spreadsheet and post it here for future use, even if the settlement itself still needs work.
For planning Andothren's NPCs and dialogue, I have gathered and edited all relevant information from the old forums related to the city's characterization. We can discuss what parts to keep or change at a future meeting. I hope no one minds me going ahead with this. Gnomey mentioned getting it done in the 10-08-2017 meeting summary, and I had some free time.
Adds 6 NPCS to the OE Guild hall - 4 in the main hall and 2 in the basement.
The two in the basement have a script that makes them spar every 20 seconds or so (they won't die from it)
Also adds unique greetings to most NPCs in the guildhall. They're all pretty generic but much more interesting than they were before.
changes 10/13/17: added conditionals of guild membership on certain greetings added misc items to npcs inventories to match their job (potions on warriors, a bit of gold, food etc)
Recently I discovered that the Khajiit quest giver in Fort Ancylis didn't actually speak like a Khajiit so I went ahead and changed it "accordingly". The problem is that I'm terrible at writing and I think I messed it up pretty badly.
excel spreadsheet dialogue for all the NPCs in Menaan, names not created or assigned, placeholders where necessary.
First draft, feel free to add or alter as necessary. Note the 3 tabs, one for specific dialogue, one for journal entries, and one for generic town dialogue
the rows are sortable if you want to sort greetings or responses to specific topics
includes one Morag Tong quest, I have an idea for a forgery quest. The Minor Hlaalu Noble has also been touted as a possible Morag Tong target in the future.
Will need conceptualization. A simple flyover of TR and/or Vanilla landscape with Daedric text overlain would be best, as in the OG Morrowind cutscenes.
Prior description, which is not deemed workable any longer in the spoiler below:
During the Foul Murder plotline, the player is made to find four ringlets of Alandro Sul's Wraithmail, so that they can summon him to ask about the real story of what happened under Red Mountain. To illustrate this, Peakstar (and possibly some Ashlander wise women) tells a folktale of how four foolish Ashlanders had their Truth stolen from them by the House of Troubles. Note this story is told through dialogue instead of a book.
Preface: -The map 4 dialogue placeholders are out of place in some instances (a lot of them), but I made do -this is my attempt at vigilante NPCing an area -One NPC has a greeting that sounds like a quest, because it is. I could develop the quest further but I thought I'd upload it here first, hence the 90% completion.
Attached are two files: 1. an esp containing the full NPCing of Gol Mok with greetings, backgrounds, some rumors/secrets, and a mini quest. 2. my "design document" I wrote out before I implemented anything, which will be posted below:
