I've noticed a severe lack of "generic" books for padding out offices and business during some recent claims and reviews, however lately I went back over mainland and noticed a lot of claim-unique books which filled that purpose and also looked over the Indoril Generic documents. As such I've gone over both lists and some other current generic books and edited them where necessary for versions that can be used all over and ideally replace those per-claim books at some point.
The text below is an MK text homaging (rewriting almost) a short piece by Jorge Luis Borges (Argumentum Ornitologicum). It might be cool to include as a scroll text (Temple-related maybe), perhaps in one of those forbidden libraries.
This is intended as an expansion to Ordolane's Bestiary. Currently, the bestiary contains volumes 9, 11, and 17. While I don't intend to fill in the entirety of the remaining volumes (1-8, 10, and 12-16 if we're assuming 17 was the final volume), I do intend to write a good 2 or 3, maybe 4 other volumes. This page will contain each volume, posted as I finish writing them. Some general quirks I noticed in the other volumes I'm carrying over:
A work on the styling of facial hair for Nirn's many peoples.
I always thought it odd that there was essentially no lore regarding the appearances of the various races, specifically regarding their facial hair, despite all of them seeming to be capable of growing it, so this ought to serve to fix that issue while giving a bit more flavor to different cultures.
A history of Firewatch, along the same lines as the one for Ebonheart. The author (a thoroughly Imperialized Dunmer, and the Firewatch court historian) is still alive, so it cuts off later than the Ebonheart one. Includes book asset .esp.
