Tel Gilan eggmine collision problems

Description: 

The floating eggs in the Tel Gilan eggmine have been reported - but not the issues with the mine itself. Several areas are too steep to walk on (despite having for example, a ladder there implying it should be walkable) and in two places the mine becomes too narrow for the PC to fit through. In fact, without levitation or high acrobatics if you got to the queen you wouldn't be able to exit because the ledge you came in on is too steep and the other way out is too narrow. Not great for a fighter guild questline...

One more note:

-none of the NPCs in the mine make any mention at all of the Fighters guild quest that sends you there or of the blighted queen which is the reason you are there. Considering this is the economic backbone of the town this should be either big news or controversial somehow.

There are a few major-ish issues with this Eggmine:

Tunnel with cart rails completly inaccessable due to rail/rock placement. (Pic 1)

Ladder in chamber is a trap door, when "activated" by player, it spins as unconnected doors do. (Pic 2)

Same chamber as ladder, "Burned out" torches are standing up, punchuring the wood lining the walk platform. (Pic 3)

Egg floating at other end of same chamber. (Pic 4)

Quite a bit of questionable cobbling IMO for cart rail elevation. (Pic 5)

Going to get some Reviewer/Senior eyes on this to confirm issues/ect before starting a fix

I'll attempt to fix the eggmine since it's the location of a central questline (FG). WIP file upload, messy. What's done:

  • Fixed the cart placement at the entrance.
  • Revised all torch placements.
  • Fixed crate placement.
  • Adjusted NPC placement.
  • Removed tree roots because there ain’t no trees above the mine.
  • Fixed kwama eggs haphazardly placed inside the cart.
  • Removed the giant northern room with the infamous rotating ladder because the room was violently violating the exterior. Replaced it with a new room that makes a deep dive.
  • Made it fit exterior.
  • Adjusted cart railings all around exterior. Cut the northern branch.
  • Grounded the floating egg.
  • Added some clutter to the northern entrance.

Remade the dungeon:

  1. Brought back the water level and made 3 flooded rooms (no floating eggs though).
  2. Removed cart rails because out of 32 vanilla egg mines, 31 do not have cart rails. And the miners don’t have to dig the tunnels in general.
  3. Removed Bitter Coast vines and moss.
  4. Redid most of the tunnels to accommodate the exterior.
  5. Redid 90% of ramps, supports and stairs, added new ones.
  6. Cluttered the southern entrance room as a storage room.
  7. Given a boiled netch leather helm to TR_m2_Huvil Kerseroth (covered mask) – a miner tries to protect his health from diseased kwama.
  8. Replaced fortify fatigue potion with resist desease.
  9. Added Bloatspore with corresponding light.
  10. Added Kwama assets.
  11. Added caveplant underwater.
  12. Add slaughterfish to the three flooded chambers (leveled, diseased and one blind).
  13. Added kwama husks.
  14. Added more loot to the remains of a swordsman to justify the player crossing the broken bridge and searching the long corridor leading to a dead end.
  15. Revised all pathgrid.
  16. Cleaned.
  17. Assigned ownership to all items (except the dead adventurer) to Nisa Darythi, lord of Tel Gilan.

Pending review.

I've created a separate bug report for the dialogue issue so it won't get lost, and added some other suggestions to it.
