I don't think so. The book isn't talking about the pilgrimage/major road exactly, you could somewhat reasonably (allusions aside) replace "Veloth's path" with "Veloth's journey" in that book. If you replace "Veloth's path" with "Veloth's Path", a bunch of other instances of "path" in the same text should also be switched to "Path".
