During the Firewatch FG quest Find Mashug gro-Dugal, if you manage to free Mashug and yourself from the trapped room, after greeting Mashug and getting the dialogue "Hey, you made it! That was an excellent plan you had there. I never would have thought to do it quite like that. Now come on, let's get out of here." if you instead go left or right to further explore the tower, he stops a few steps down the corridor, and even after speaking to him again he does not follow you no matter where you go, with the "stopping" textbox recurring no matter what. If you then leave the exterior, instead of being outside with you he's back inside the trapped room, with dialogue commencing as if you never freed him in the first place. Another, less severe issue is that the commands you can give him while inside the trapped room are very buggy and inconsistent, with Mashug being completely unresponsive to them sometimes, greets occuring causing him to stop, having to cycle through other options before he'll do what you tell him to etc.
