These are notes on “faction reputation” (required for advancement) gains for Mainland faction quests in TR_Mainland.esm release 1609.
Format is:
_ topicname
[ModFacRep value] [Journal ID] [Corresponding quest state if available]
(any alternate states)
_ topicname
(etc.)

Note that Mainland factions give lower reputation rewards (often 3 or less, versus 5-10 in vanilla) because of a greater amount of guild halls planned for each.

Overall examples:
current TR MG gives 23 and 38 31 to 47 faction reputation in total (compared to ~145 for Vvardenfell’s non-endgame quests);
current TR FG gives 35 and 62 48 to 84 (down to ~30 with expulsion-worthy failures) – (compared to ~160 for Vvardenfell).

Aren’t I late to react to this! The FG missing the Faction reputation rewards in Akamora is my bad. Glad to see it fixed.

Does someone now exactly what Faction reputation does? It’s a requirement for advancement in some cases and it also raises the disposition of your fellow faction members (though how much, I don’t know), but does it affect how NPCs hostile towards your faction react to you?

Actually it’s always a requirement for advancement and that’s all it does (for joining too technically, you need to have >= 0 to meet the requirements -- very few things remove faction reputation but it’s not unheard of)
Only rank affects disposition, does so in nearly linear fashion and according to the faction relation modifiers, equivalent for friendly and hostile (eg +3-5 disposition per rank for members of the same faction, -3-5 per rank for hated ones like telvanni—mages...)

edit: according to openMW research PC and NPC reputation are involved in persuasion/intimidate/... success chances edit: but that's global reputation only, faction reputation has nothing to do with that

 So theoretically could there be quests that give negative reputation to other factions, and that would block someone from joining that faction? I like that idea. I think it would be nice if the player would have to do a quest for a certain faction NPC that isn't related to the faction itself, But would still give a positive reputation for helping out that faction so if someone accidentally blocked themselves off from joining a faction, it would still be possible for them to join by raising up the reputation of that faction by helping out that NPC.
