Meeting Notes

Andaram

For the Anadaram release, no surprise is the Dreugh Citadel assets which does have some work behind it on the browser, and should be enough to put basic dungeons together on a playable playspace level (not on a visual appearance level), the new dreugh creatures are not as much of a priority as the tileset and its clutter, and so more powerful versions of existing dreugh can be used as the Man 'o' War placeholders. Talks of having coral gemstone mining in the citadels came up again and would be a nice organic treasure to take from these places.

The Scepter of Violation (made of Coral gemstone) from the Dreugh Regalia should be present in Paruddma's Maw as the dungeons artifact.

Misc clutter for the Dreugh came up too in case the citadels feel empty. Ideas of sunken dwemer clutter, Shells, Shipwreck loot, pearls and molted carapace came up. Prisoner cages would be needed too for the exterior. And again Coral would also add to this.
Veloth's Path might need a look over at some point as some of it is not smooth and other quality concerns.

 

Deshaan Plains

Deshaan plain assets needed for the Narsis release are mostly rocks and land textures as there is vegetation in Tamriel Data already alongside a few Deshaan plain creatures such as Skyrenders and Tiger Guar. Some landscape textures could be pulled from https://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/asset/old-nedothril-coast-assets if suitable, namely the stoney road texture if the grass patches were edited out. There is also a texture in vanilla simply called Dirt_Road which is unused and suits the Deshaan Plains tan and pale colour palete.


Cavern entrances that are just retextures of existing ones would be fine.

 

Roth Roryn

Roth Roryn still needs its overhauling to be finished, possibly after Andaram releases as Aanthirin will be getting a slight make over for the release as the whole region will be finished at last and as to remove as much Ascadian Isle assets as it can.

 

Armun Ashlands

Armun Ashlands should get a reddish texture make over with some more volcanic activity in the region, Red Mountain rocks should be scrubbed from the mainalnd entirely, and so Armun Ashlands should get it's own reddish rock texture which will help blend in with Othreleth Woods in the south. More vegetation should be present in the ashlands, as well as intorducing the Ash Fowl which still exists in this region but was wiped out on Vvardenfell (these are the source of Ashlander feathers). Armun Ashlands requires a rename someday as it is not THE Ashlands, Armun should remain in the name of course as it is the origin of the Armun-An Bonemold armour. There are talks of addin red flowers that are not fire ferns.

 

Velothi Mountains

Velothi Mountains still needs its texture overhaul to happen so it isn't a mix of Bloodmoon and Red Mountain. The Flowers and Invasive PT Flora gets the region half way, but the trees are still in development alongside Land textures (which really is mostly the rocks and grass textures as snow is universal).

Clambering Moors

Clambering Moors is mostly asset complete but is waiting on the Velothi Mountain assets to be finished so it has rocks to use; except for Firemoth Isle, which will use Molag Amur assets with flora being Clambering Moors. Both combined will add to the fire characterization of the island being a caldera atoll. Clambering Moors would be a nice breakregion to work on inbetween Narsis and Kragenmoor. The first batch of new Redoran Buildings have been merged.

 

Orethan Heartlands

Orethan Heartlands can mostly be carried by using Ascadian Isle grass textures and Tribunals flora suite. The region would use the cracked Bitter Coast rock texture as it is mossy but the rock itself suits the assets it is used with, the Landscape texture of it though needs to be edited so that it doesn't tile as it does in its current form. TR of course expands on all the Tribunal flora by making lots of shape variants.

 

Sacred Lands

Sacred Lands. The region would have a mudflats coastline with gold and grey/pale colour palete in the regions interior. Necrom sitting on muted rocks would make it not be awkward down to the coastline transition. Table Shrooms made by Feivelyn were made though more texture work should be done as they look like they are a bit advanced for Morrowind's aestetics.


There are several other flora still in need of making such asthe tall white shroom caps and the Ancestor Mushrooms.

MwGek's Necrom arcitecture redo is very much desired at the moment and if possible to contact MwGek to finish them and get them ready to merge in TR would be a big step when Necrom gets it's face lift after Kragenmoor.

Shifting Sailen to the Gate of Necrom and making it Velothi would give the town some character which it lacks at the moment.

 

Mournhold

Some more immediate additions needed for the Mournhold set is dock pieces and large wall variants that add more versitility. Kynesifar said he may be able to help finish off the dock pieces.
