following a discussion (=a disagreement) with Gnomey I got the inspiration to write a little story about House Indoril and the names of its lords.
this story/one-man play is meant to be an Indoril version of stand up comedy, or more accurately the Japanese monologue theatre rakugo. it's hugely influenced by a traditional Japanese story, Jugemu.
https://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/claims/headless The player finds a talking skull. It turns out to be the head of an ancestor guardian (some sort of intelligent bonewalker?) that an adventurer knocked off its body, and now it can't move around on its own. It tells the story of how the body killed the adventurer but then wandered off and fell off a cliff/into a river/etc and was destroyed. The skull asks the player to take it to its family so it can be properly reinstated.
A Temple/Indoril book written by an Indoril noble that seeks to reconcile the essays "On the Importance of Heresy" with "On the Evil of Heresy" in the most Indoril way possible.
The Indoril stronghold of Idaverrano should be located in or near 19,-15. with some few house ruins in other locations. Both the stronghold and the ruins should be half-buried.
The seafloor in the western part needs colouring. Not all cells need much detailing, only those near points of interest.
All cells need to be filled with Inner Sea creatures.
The interior would need to reflect Idaverrano’s status as old regional seat of House Indoril before the inner Sea existed. The entire interior would be flooded and items would float in the water.
