Hey everyone!
It might sound weird, but I genuinely am interested where we all are these days. Originally, Tamriel Rebuilt was very much a U.S.-based project, but I think that hasn't been true in years. But for a more nuanced, current view, I think it might be fun to tell eachother where we are from these days.
I'll start this by saying I'm from the Netherlands, both living there and being born there. Didn't always live there though, let alone Europe, but ever since TR I have.
Proposed Agenda
- Quest Reviewing: we need more warm bodies here. Perhaps reach out to the community for "alpha testers"?
- Old Ebonheart: issues with quests and release. Problem: quests not contained wholly in OE section file can't be released officially with rest of OE, but not viable to have Guild quest chains only happen in OE.

Been looking in on this place for a while and finally decided to make an account and start putting some art up. I started with weapons because its the one thing in the game I just want more of, that and armor. I will most likely do some creatures and flora as well. If you want me to work on something specific just ask, the same if you have any questions! I will try to update as often as I can.
For later consideration. These are TR entries that overwrite default dialogue in the original game (as in duplicates that will prevent the original game's lines, or their versions edited/fixed by mods, from being displayed by the original game's NPCs):

Hello, I installed Tamriel Rebuilt last night and found that some of the faces available in the character creator were showing up as the Yellow Exclamation Mark of Doom, as well as the faces of some characters (so far I haven't left Seyda Neen but the new people on the dock there have this issue). Here's what I'm getting in Warnings.txt:

Not sure if anyone had checked this mod out, maybe it could be implemented into tr, as it makes the water seem more real with having sound effects.

I would love to help develop the look and feel of Southern Morrowind. especially Great Houses Dres and Hlaalu, as well as the Cyrodil/Black Marsh borders with Morrowind
The fabricant creatures (Hulking, and Verminous) are creatures that were captured and then had parts of their bodies repalced by machinery. I was just wondering if these creatures will be out in the wild as well before they are modified, as in wild versions? And would they perhaps be in the jungles bordering black marsh?
Also just another idea, what if there were other fabricants near the sotha sil ruins, new ones that is. Maybe fabricant kagouti or something like that.
Have you guys considered using interior presets? This could be especially useful in finishing out Dred lands in reasonable time. I'm thinking you could have interiors for mage, fighter, common, noble, scout, thief. Start with a complete form, add 2 or 3 items to match the uniqueness of the character. Drag in any quest item and populate/ replace chest containing bulk of items and go. Shelves and tables complete with properly rotated items just dragged in, complete, if not already there. Any very unique interior could be custom made of course and presets modified at a later date as needed.
TR is amzing, I've used it so much over the years. I always want to try and give back and help out but something always seems to come up irl that stops me. I even made a showcase back in 2013 and got accepted. But this time is the right time. I want to see this project completed one day and the best way I can see that happening is if the whole community chips in and helps. So I've made a showcase out of the Hlaalu tileset. I may be a little rusty in the CS as I don't frequent it nearly as often as I used to. Let me know what you think.
Where can I find a TR wiki that is up to date? A wiki that lists and describes all the ingredients, npcs and locations in TR?
Here's a weird problem for you guys to solve. I re-installed TR recently and I tried to use the TR_FilePatcher_v2 tool to fix one of my old saves. When I reopened the save, in game, I found many of the AI's, and some objects, had been cloned! Almost every character walking around with a twin... Thinking this was just a weird fluke I ran it though again... Now there are TRIPLETS! Please help!

Hello my Aanthirin region meshes are missing in the new release and I have downloaded all the correct content, registered the BSAs, but whenever I travel to the Aanthirin region or try to sail to Almas Thirr it says I'm missing a lot of textures and meshes to the point where it just crashes. How can I get this to work?

I was looking at the conceptualization for Great House Hlaalu, particularly their conspiracy. It's an interesting spin on the faction.
One thing I was considering: since this conspiracy is limited to the upper echelons of the house, how would some of the other nobles feel about it? This could be an interesting source of conflict (and quests). Lesser Hlaalu nobles might depend on Imperial trade or patronage, and actively oppose the anti-Imperial effort were they to be made aware of it. Some might even feel genuine loyalty to the Empire.
Hello again everybody. I continue playing the mod, it's not a kind of a testing, I'm just a consumer who enjoys the mod. I write here when I encounter a problem, because there's no other communities (as far as I know) where I could get help. I'm doing a quest of Imperial cult in Helnim -- the Sword of Taldeus. I've come to the Omathi tomb, searched it whole and found no sword. I've opened the TES CS and found that a room with the sword is immured. The only pass to it is blocked with a wall. I want to know if it is a puzzle I must solve (activator?..) or a bug.
Should I still use the abotsWindowGlowTR1612 patch or should I remove it?
I feel like I am totally missing something.
I'm having trouble installing Tamriel Rebuilt. I am using OpenMW on a Mac.
I download and extract everything and register everything in the ini. Problem is, that the two BSA files that I have to register, are not even in the downloaded file? And as such, I have huge missing textures everywhere. I seriously do not get this. Any help would be appreciated!
(I am talking about the PT_Data and TR_Data BSA files, which I can't seem to find anywhere)
