Is there a way to do this on our forum? I can’t recall if there is.

In TR_Mainland (release part), several road signs are named wrong or pointing in a wrong direction while stating the correct destination. Eg., near Tel Ouada and Sarvanni, a sign reads „Firewatch (via Aranyon pass)” while the pass leads directly to the west east of Ranyon-Ruhn and nowhere near Firewatch since that is still leagues away and in a completely different direction. The road sign near Ranyon-Ruhn points toward Helnim and Tel Muthada, but not towards Marog/Kemel-Ze which lies between Helnim and Tel Muthada on the same road. The road signs in the (former) inlet b
Have you also over dreamt of Morrowind having detailed descriptions for every item that you find in the world, just like it is common practice in many other classic RPGs? Do you want to know for example what’s the lore behind our Aena weapons or perhaps just find out what a simple Bluefoot mushroom actually is? Or maybe you just want to find out where that Rustic Key belongs to that you totally forgot about?
Well, that is now a very real possibility.
I am asking this because there have been some very elusive „bugs” in my MW worldscape, which I could only resolve by testing out which mod overlayed or touched regions and/or CS declarations of another one. In one case, an older Window Lights for TR mod made buildings and windows disappear, and it took me quite a day to find it out. I believe it would be very useful if there would be a standard question à la „did you check load order, and which/how many mods have you loaded” –– in my case, the answer would be „yes, about 192, 10 of them with bsas, not including about 40 esp/esm-l
I noticed that I am still shown in the „currently active users” list after logging out. Can anyone look into this and, if necessary, once force-logoff me?
Thanks.
EDIT: seems to be solved already –– thanks again if any of you was involved. suddenly the logoff worked as expected.
Seems not to be solved; now I am „active” again even half an hour after logging out… please, could somebody look into this?
Just a thought:
If a bug in a new TR release occurs under OpenMW, it ought to be confirmed under regular Morrowind.exe before it gets posted as a bug here, since OpenMW handles stuff a little differently –– and bugs only occurring under OpenMW ought to be posted at the OpenMW site, not at Tamriel Rebuilt. TR is, actually, not developing for OpenMW, but for Morrowind, and it is OpenMW’s task to be fully compatible to the original engine.
My character is unable to walk, jump, or run once he enters the Telvannis Council Chamber. All I can do is rotate back to the door. I’m unable to get quests or speak to the council members.
Now, I do recall reading that you’re supposed to reach a floating platform. However, whatever I’m standing on upon entry does not float. I’ve tried casting levitation, and that doesn’t do anything either. Has anybody run into this?
I’ve also been getting a lot of slowdown in Port Telvannis, particularly around the Council Chamber. I suspect that’s an issue with my computer, however.
‘morning,
as a Morrowind player since the first release hit the shelves back in 2001 and a long-time TR:MWML user, I am a bit „cnofsued” about a few things, and I’d like to gather a few thoughts on this (as well as, perhaps, give you TR folks a little feedback and inspiration).
hello,
since I cannot access the bug tracker, I’ll have to post this here, even if it is a minor issue:
– with the renaming of regions and cities, the road signs were NOT updated to the new names (still pointing towards Ayemar, Darnim etc).
– Ammar seems to be named Ammar in one square and Ayemar in the two adjacent ones; at least, it appears this way on the map.
– what is the name of Arvud –– Arvud or, like the road signs state (and which I prefer), Ald Erfoud?
I was wondering: is it possible to join both the Mainland Mages Guild and Mainland Great House Telvanni? Or is it a one-or-the-other type of deal? I know the two factions are in conflict, but in the Vanilla game you could join both so long as you didn’t do the optional guild quests that involved killing Telvanni members.
Hey guys! I’ve been looking over Tamriel Rebuilt and I have to say it looks fantastic and I can’t wait to try it out. I just have a quick question, if you all don’t mind.
How is Mournhold affected in TR? I saw on the map that it’s surrounded by Almalexia, so I’m assuming the Mournhold part is vanilla Tribunal map/content?
Is the TR Discord channel generally open to new members or only during the weekly development meetings? Just checking because the invites posted in the development thread tend to expire before I have a chance to accept.
Hi everybody!
I’ve discovered TR just a few days ago while browsing through some mods. I wanted to play Morrowind again after so many years, but was looking for something to spice it up a bit. And the thought of a mainland expansion got me incredibly excited.
Hey TR!
I’ve been following the project ever since I first heard about it around a year ago. Unfortunately I don't have much time to mod these days, but I’m hoping to free up some time within the next month or so. In the mean time, I did put together a quick showcase, just to get that out of the way.

As discussed in the Discord Meeting on 9/24/16, we are thinking of posting some “writing prompts” on Reddit or other places. But, instead of writing prompts, we would post “concept prompts,” which would be maybe a paragraph long and describe something, then ask people to make concept art based on it. Post your ideas, comments, or possible blurbs here.
Maybe this will help generate some concepts for us.
Examples:
As we move towards eventually finishing up our faction questlines on the mainland, we need to consider how our factions will interact or be related to the ones in the vanilla game. This thread is specifically for handling the guilds.
Current rough brainstorming from Discord chat:
I’ve been practicing with the Morrowind Construction Set, and have put together a Hlaalu-style house. The exterior places an ex_hlaalu_b_06 on a new bit of land in Seyda Neen -2, -9 (just beyond the shacks). My main goal here is to show off interior modding, but I did want to create an exterior shell for the place.
The idea is that this is a vacation home belonging to a spoiled Hlaalu aristocrat by the name of Evsen Vyldros. It’s illegal to sleep within, and I’m pretty sure all of the items are listed as belonging to Evsen.
Hello all. I haven’t been to TR since before the new forums were set up (looking much nicer). Just having a nosy and seeing what’s been going on.
I used to do a lot of interior and exterior work. I’m not ready to contribute again, but I am thinking of starting to get into quest implementing, modelling and texturing in the future.
Hi there! I made some quick concept for Dres noble-clothing for one of the three clans. If you wonder what’s around their eyes, it’s make-up, which shows some form of authority and also is intended to intimidate.

This is a second concept of Dres slave-hunters of the same clan.
Warning: Contains some gore.
I’m a little embarrassed to ask this question, because I’m fairly certain I solved it in an older installation. However, I can’t seem to make lightning strike twice.
With TR, I’m running into the issue where certain objects just don’t load. I know that registering TR is essential for this, so I downloaded BSA Reg Utility and registered it. My .ini file has TR listed in the archives (number 3, right after glowing flora). But objects still aren’t loading. Further, most of the TR sound files are missing.
Any ideas as to what’s going on?
I want to make a handbook page that is a long answer to the question:
“Will TR be editing Vanilla Content?”
As per the meeting of September 10 this is what we currently have as an answer. I’d like some feedback if anyone has the time. This should be an informative page.

Proposed answer to “Does TR edit vanilla Vvardenfell”
Hello all.
Looks like my old account has been deleted: “Tyrant”. I’ve been in and out of here since 2010, made a handful of interiors, including the OE FG HQ and submitted one questline (not sure if the quest made it into the game)…. anyways, i’m around again, hopefully can start contributing once more.
The new website looks great, and very glad to see this place is active.
Here to throw an idea out there for discussion.
